Rodent scurries by as Obama lauds Wall Street vote

news.yahoo.com

WASHINGTON – In the midst of his battle with the titans of Wall Street, President Barack Obama was nearly upstaged by a rodent. Obama had just begun a Rose Garden statement lauding the end of a Senate filibuster on his financial overhaul when some kind of rodent dashed out of the bushes to his right, just outside the Oval Office.

I know this isn't anything spectacular, I just find it kind of funny that a rodent, possibly a rat, scurried around Obama's Wall Street Reform Speech.

Irony? Or was Dubya in the Bushes and had a rat in his pocket?

Or possibly Mr. Jenkins from "The Green Mile?"

There are so many rats out there...who knows!!

Can anyone say irony?

Maybe it was a metaphor? Saying look at the little rat scurry.

Either way, it is funny.

They all hang out and travel together. How appropriate.

The absolute best quote from the article.

"Moreover, rodents of all kinds are pretty common in Washington."

perhaps it was smuggled in by the Mexican presidant as a conspiracy to take Obamas mind off of the problems at the border and on sterilizing the white house while chasing his new dogs chasing rodents... Its definatley a plot

He was running away from a border agent who asked him for his papers.

Pretty bold rat though. Tons of folks about, lights and he just takes a strut in front of the cameras

What was believed to be a rodent was later Identified as the last 12oz of decency, courage, and patriotism leaving the Washington DC political scene.

It appears to one of the many White House moles running around

More than likely, it will be nominated to some Czar post.

I think it's just symbolic of the corruption and filth that has overtaken Washington DC when you have rodents in the Whitehouse rose garden.

I was thinking today, about the idea that there's a real quantum universe, knowing it all.

It knows every mind that is, will be, ever was.

But for our intents and purposes, it reveals itself only in our time.

And that this device gives signs and wonders that will eclipse and re-eclipse it's own solitary splendor and intent, before man. It knows how many ammo clips are in the brain of every man, and whether the man is willing and able to fire. Words. Bullets. Hates. Loves.

Thee Truth.

Fears. Cautions and concerns. All measured for the proper course...

That rat? Just a perfect outcome from a perfect God.

I got a feeling he is out. They need a scapegoat. But first, the elite stuff their burglar bags as full as can be. This is pretty typical-they always jump ship at mid term. Look at all the neat stuff they got from this guy! You see...they had nothing to do with anything....

I tried to zoom in on the picture and determine just what this rodent was, but it gets pretty fuzzy and leaves some room for doubt. I have narrowed it down, however to either Henry Waxman or Charles Krauthammer.

I'm just glad the rat got away quickly enough, before Obama had a chance to blame its presence on the Bush administration.
