Music Vs. Myers Briggs Personality Type.

Personality Type: INTJ
Favorite Music Genre: Rock, Jazz

Actually my taste in music is fairly diverse, I like a little bit of everything from Classical to Rap, so picking a favorite genre or two isn't exactly accurate, but I think the above two come the closest.

I agree with the difficulties some are going to have defining their favorite music genre. Maybe you should give a list of ten or so genres you want people to categorize themselves by.

I, too, am interested in seeing the outcome of this.

(And to the people who are taking the "don't categorize me" road... Everything can be categorized and just because you feel unique doesn't mean that you don't fit into certain groups when studied. You don't have to participate, so it shouldn't matter to you. Just my observation.)

It will work with the genres. I have an organization idea that will work, just go on as normal.

I can easily listen to anything non-mainstream, but those two genres are my favourites.

Not to be pessimistic, but I don't think this experiment will be very successful, simply because only choosing 2 genres isn't easy. Maybe it would be better to have a list of genres, and rate how much you like a particular genre, from 1 to 10? It would be more complicated, but I think the results would be more accurate.

I have to say that the introvert/extrovert part really depends on my mood. Some days I can be a complete extrovert and then there are day like to day that I am completely introverted.
Extroverted days I lean more towards punk ( and use it is important to be specific on the punk) and on introverted days I lean more towards country. I like classical any day of the week.
