hmmm...maybe your on to something. Maybe the only reason he exposes half the truth is because he simply doesn't have time to expose the corrupted republicans also. Maybe Fox should give him two hours instead.

There are plenty of problems we face -- but Obama is far from "redistributing wealth" to the poor or a Socialist.

Glenn Beck is a shill and if you actually cared, you can find quotes of him saying; "it's all an act." This guy isn't even religious.

The Gulf Oil Gusher is a huge threat, and all these fools are worried about Obama's birth certificate, the illuminati and Socialism? I just hope we are ALIVE to have to worry about everybody making the same money. I think that's the absolute least of our worries.

Sometimes there are interesting comments on this site, but I'm troubled by t the signal-to-noise ratio.

THANK YOU! This is what I've been trying to say in too many words, obviously. If you really think Glenn Beck is a bringer of truth then why doesn't he expose EVERYONE, not just the democrat/liberal/socialist/commie's? Where was he when Bush was destroying our country and being a puppet for "them"?

Some are accusing people like me of ad hominem attacks and ignoring the fact that he tells the truth; however, it's hard to praise someone who is blatantly ignoring that there are MANY, MANY others who are all for destroying the American way of life and they aren't all democrats. If someone deserves to be praised for telling the truth that so many dare not do, then isn't it perfectly logical to EXPECT that person tells the WHOLE truth and not just the truth that gets republicans votes?

Ok you are seriously miss informed. He states several times in almost every episode that he does not care if you are a dem. Repub. Or an indep. WE ARE ALL AMERICANS.
He states constantly that you should vote for people who will uphold the constitution.
I understand that some of you might believe in social justice and that anyone who is rich are evil and they need their money given to the poor.
I understand that because you may have voted for the current administration that you feel you need to defend it at all cost. I am just afraid that you don't really see what that cost is going to be. In too many cases people let their party lines become trip wires!
This IS NOT a ball game people. It is not your side against our side. This is about the lives of our children and their childrens children.
Google Beck on George Bush or on repubs. Try reading the truth instead of just falling into (your party) line.
It is not about Dems. Or Repubs. It is about Progressives and they are in both parties. We need to return to our conservative values, back to the constitution and I for one applaud the information Beck is trying to get out.
Stop catching clips of him on utube. Most are taken out of context to help you trip over your party lines.
Watch him for a couple of days and see for yourself how much Dem bashing he does. You may be surprised.

I think that Glenn is obviously a very disturbed individual and I hold Fox completely accountable for exploiting his mental illness the way they have. I once had the privilage of being allowed into a mental hospital. We were there doing some research for a presentation of "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" that we were staging. There were a lot of Glenn Beck's in there. They had urgent messages that they implored us to get out to the world concerning huge conspiracies that were directed against them. The Pope, the Prime Minister of England, the President; they were all named as being behind monsterous plots that were not only directed at them specifically, but, according to them, us as well. Glenn acts a whole lot like those people did, crying one minute, giddy with excitement as they explained their crazy conspiracies in the next. Anytime I see him I'm reminded of those poor souls in that hospital. They all had a very tenuous grip on what was real, and so does Glenn Beck. I've heard that suicide runs in his family. I suspect that, once the novelty of watching a man who's lost his mind finally looses its ratings appeal, that Glenn Beck will join his mother and his brother in the cold solace of self-destruction. Fox will be to blame.

So in a certain sense it seems like he's saying any change to our current system will bring about poverty since we'll be playing into the hands of these people that want to destroy our country. What about those whose goal is to lessen the wealth gap in the country, wouldn't that require change? This will just harden people into being completely resistant with a tinge of paranoia.

When Beck covers the MK Conspiracies I may turn my attention for a second. Until then, he is still a partisan shill.

I have not sent Glenn any of my research here or the other sites I belong to.

Others have asked if I have. I usually tell them to send my links themselves when they ask.

If you look through my threads here, you will find a LOT of things that Beck goes over.

I think his researchers that he has on his payroll, know very well where to look for ideas. I would not be surprised if ATS is one of their bigger sources of ideas to follow up on their research.

He has lately talked about how tips have helped him in his research. I particularly remember a few days after connecting a lot of one show to about 4 or 5 threads here at ATS to topics on his show, that he came out and thanked tips and people on the internet for doing the research.

I am 95% certain that they use ATS. Just too many coincidences.

Precisely. I tried to watch it today, and he is taking patriotic zeal and the spirit of the Founding Fathers, and transmuting it to unbridled, unconditional zionism. What I saw today was sickening. I had this funny feeling come over me like what I had just read seems like it somehow played more of a significance over just the usual concerns (which these days I think that we ALL can agree that there are MANY concerns), anyways then it hit me!

Hmmmm....it sure sounds like that this statement "If public debt is not lowered back to precrisis levels, the I.M.F. report said, growth in advanced economies could decline by half a percentage point annually" SURE SOUNDED AN AWFUL LOT LIKE WHAT THE OP POSTED AND WHAT I HAVE QUOTED ABOVE!! :-/

Anyways I just wanted to share this possible connection, and insight as to how the stage might be continuing to be set. Damn the evil powers that be. There WILL eventually be a time that ALL OF THEM will be held accountable for their atrocities in which they perpetrated upon humanity.

My God man...it is even more disheartening to realize on an ever increasing daily basis that THIS is the country in which I had defended for over 20 years in the military, only to find out when it is all said and done that it has been pimped/sold out, the constitution that I swore to uphold and defend and fought for in multiple wars (and being injured Kandahar, Afghanistan Oct. '01 and live with chronic pain everyday as a reminder) has been used as toilet paper by those very same "elected officials" that was supposed to uphold it...I could go on and on :-/

All I wanted to do was serve my country, retire at 20 years, and live "the American dream" and now to see that fade away having been replaced with THIS?!? I retired last June, JUST NOW found a career (that's with having a science degree, TS/SCI security clearance and 20+ years specialized experience) but in the process I lost both my wife's and I's cars, most of what I owned, the small business we had, forced into bankruptcy which then required me to use a Debit Card for everything....found out by doing so society SHUNS you and brands you as someone not to be trusted (a lowlife criminal basically), haven't seen my family now in over 4 months as I have been chasing after my career all over the U.S.

The problem with a lot of people is they've lost perspective about how esteemed their subject is in the eyes of the rest of the country. Defenders of the Beck & hell, Sarah Palin don't have a perspective of what these people look like to the rest of their fellow Americans.

In short I am saying no information is bad information. Its what you do with it. I'm not going to completely disregard everything Beck says because he is a "shill". I have a mind of my on and id like to exercise it with as much info as possible to better make an informed decision.

Book burners like to burn the "bad books" because they fear the freedom of people to make their own choice.

Ive read about the Nazi's, communists,Marxist, etc, etc. I read about these things because I wanted to get as much perspective as possible.
It would be pretty closed minded if I discounted someones views because they did not fit into my idea or belief system.

Consuming all knowledge from all sides makes for a well informed individual.

To me what he is doing on Fox and Talk radio is no different than what we do on here.

Besides the comments about him being a "shill" and a crazy man or whatever I have yet to see anyone intelligently attack the facts he presents.
