well u got me there
I've apparently looked over this being sold. I still dont believe it discredits this case completely. Its one of those cases we can argue over endlessly until someone comes out and said they faked this, I dont think we'll get confirmation from the alien or anyone involved if the video is legit.

"Area 51: The Alien Interview" is a joke! I have watched The Alien Interview several times, and realized what a ridiculous hoax it is. I mean give me a break! You Interview an E.T. and don't even light the room properly? Yeah right! It was blatantly obvious they were just trying to hide the fact that it was a puppet, so they kept the room as dark as possible. But the E.T. was conveniently sensitive to light. Pffftt...

The movement's of the puppet's head were very puppet-like and didn't look natural at all. And they used a telepath to communicate with the E.T.? Yeah sure! Whatever! Another ridiculous thing that was mentioned was that the aliens managed to eradicate all microbial bacteria and germs from their air (or something like that) so they immediately get sick breathing our planet's air. Yeah right!

Victor's behavior was absolutely cartoonish when he was re-interviewed in 2008, and some of the things he said were absurd. It was as though he was trying to behave as phony as possible.

IMO, UFO/Alien research is an absolutely legitimate subject that should to be taken seriously. However, massively hoaxed videos like The Alien Interview are bad because they make a mockery out of the whole subject.

It may be a puppet,

But if it's a puppet then it's a good copy of what some of them really look like.

The shapes and proportions of the eyes, mouth, and head are spot-on. Shapewise, it just looks too right to me. Even if it's a ridiculous puppet...

Every life form has an abundance of golden ratios to be found within the shapes and features of its face. I see them here. It's a "good looking" alien in that sense.

I found the video to be very very creepy. I tend to believe I can see right through a hoax, but I couldn't find much that really rubbed me as fake here.

Yes, you can argue that the movements don't seem right, or that someone may have made this video dark to hide something, but that itself doesn't stand up as proof of a hoax, it just means that the video doesn't reveal proof that it isn't. (What video would these days? Good cgi can fool almost anybody)

The creepy feeling I get when watching this has me intrigued.

(just my spider senses talking here)

Well, an explanation of the odd head movement (in favor of the video being legit) could be that the being could not be used to the strong gravity here on earth.

It's head looks quite big, so I would imagine that if you were experiencing higher gravity than your used to, you would have a hard time keeping your head straight, hence the strange movement and wobbling. And at one point, he seems to look straight at the camera.

But it's almost impossible to tell these days what's fake, and whats real. And I'm no expert at spotting fakes. I'm still on the fence about this.

There was mention of hemoraging yet I saw no blood on the alien or the cloth they held to it.

Even though this video is obviously fake, the hoaxer sure went to a lot of trouble to make it. I mean that ET puppet looks better than any I have ever seen in any Hollywood movie. All the little intricacies of the video where really thought out (ex: "DNI" stamp on the video, the "heart rate monitor", etc.). Victor even mentions Zeta Reticuli. However, the extremely low lighting and very puppet-like movements of the ET's head gives it away that it's an obvious hoax. It would have been really cool if it was real, too bad it's not.

BTW, is "Victor" in the video actually Bob Lazar? Because on Amazon.com, Lazar is listed as being one of the actors in the video. Here is the Amazon.com link: www.amazon.com...=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1274091448&sr=8-3

I remember watching a video on this, and they showed it to some animators and people in similar fields (movie industry) and they said it was fake, and it was done poorly. IMO, I think I might believe those who are experts in something so closely related. In addition to that, the question always comes up as to why the hell is it so dark in that room? If they were recording a video in that room, why not make it as bright as possible? Clearly the video quality is garbage, why make it dark? The information on the bottom could have been forged in a variety of different ways that I am sure is easily attainable on the internet, but nevertheless, it may just be someone pulled a great hoax/prank or it's real and our government needs to learn how to invest in some lights/quality cameras...

Just read what you wrote about Bob Lazar possibly being Victor, and if that is the case then I'd have to say it's more than likely a host. Considering people have found that Bob Lazar went to school at a junior college (Not MIT like he said) and had a GPA of ~2.1. Just too many factors point towards Bob Lazar lying.

well, bob is a pretty smart guy, regardless of the smearing that has happened. He was on the front page of ATS today for building a particle generator--> www.abovetopsecret.com... , so i highly doubt his GPA in highschool or college has anything to do with how smart he really is. - Also, the room isnt well lit due to the sensitivity of the "aliens" eyes, as is the reason given by "victor"

Bob Lazar is the real deal. He is the victim of the governments smear and disinformation campaign.
John Lear swears by him.

Complete bull#. More crap that undermines UFOlogy when the field is desperate for anything bringing legitimacy. How can you fight for respect when you've got this cook of a split-personality that makes you look like the neighborhood serial killer? To all the low-lives who must have been ignored by mommy and now desperate for attention, go off to the woods and die like a weird animal should.

How come they can't find Bob Lazar's picture in any of the MIT yearbooks? Don't tell me the government went to all the MIT alumnis' homes and switched their yearbooks. Sorry, but Lazar has very little credibility in the UFO community. And if "Victor" is indeed Lazar, then it makes the alien interview video even more questionable.

BTW, did you see how corny "Victor" behaved when he was re-interviewed in 2008? The video of his 2008 re-interview is probably on Youtube somewhere.

If this were an actual interview it would have been done in alot better conditions and documented heavily, you would think if such a video was leaked the documentation related to it would also..

Based on what i've seen I'm leaning towards the possibility that what victor is saying could be real, but of course without anyway of proving it could very well be just a well done hoax.

Still if it is a hoax, victor's done a good job of sounding fairly convincing, saying the right things to stay in character and of course making a video that someone went through all the trouble to produce just to get a little bit of money on a T.V show.

Not worth the extravagant effort to hoax imo, unless he's got a hardon for theatrics and attention getting.

IMO I find it unlikely that it is the same victor because he's completely out of character, in comparison to his earlier interviews. Still there is a possibility that what your saying is true, but there is also no proof to link this victor to the earlier one.

Whether or not Victor is a hoax, It is likely either made by somebody else to prove that they can fake Victor, or at worst disinformation made by government people.

Personally, I find it looks ridiculous. First off, there are excuses made for every single inconsistency (poor excuses at that).

Poor lighting? The alien is sensitive to light apparantly. Although it's likely if you believe in this then you also believe in a couple abduction stories, in which people are taken by similar aliens and in most of the stories I've heard, held in a BRIGHT white room while tested on etc.

The medical team take a longtime to respond, not only that, their poor acting and generally doing nothing but wiping its mouth and shining a torch over its face over and over, wearing nothing but a surgeons mask and gloves - The excuse for this is that they're "generally poor and chosen for their ability to keep quiet more than their medical skills", this alone is an alarm bell, WHAT? Do I need to explain why that's absolutely ridiculous?

Many of you believe there are a number of secret bases all over the US, including Dulce, a Human/Alien alliance controlled base, holding many ET's. Aswell as being able to secretly develop extraordinary vehicles by themselves or being able to reverse engineer alien tech... Yet, you're fine believing that they're incompetent enough not to have a highly skilled medical team on standby (presumably in biohaz suites etc) when conducting an interview like that when it's already mentioned by "Victor" that the Aliens supposedly have generally poor health while here on Earth.

Come on guys.....

The ET's face and head looks just like the one in war of the worlds with Tom Cruise ..
I wonder if the movie makers got that from this ...

In any case .. I watched this several times before and still haven't made up my mind about it's authenticity ...

Also .. if that is a bio containment area .. why do those so called doctors only have simple face masks like in a hospital ..?
I would expect to see them wearing some serious gear .. if not for themselves .. than to at least protect the ET ..
The doctors look so clumsy .. I'd be more inclined to believe that is a real ET than believing that those are real doctors or scientists ..

It doesn't look like it took much money to make it, other than the ET puppet, hiring a puppeteer, and hiring a few people to play the role of doctors. There is a lot of attention to detail, but the production doesn't look expensive at all.
