Why claims of Nibiru on NASA's Stereo satellites are ignorant LIES

With the recent influx of videos using Stereo as evidence of Nibiru I thought I would attempt to prove how and why they are no more than our known celestial neighbours.

A quick search using the words nibiru+stereo in youtube gives us about 140 results

A cause for concern!

What these video makers fail to do is investigate things for themselves, deliberately or ortherwise.

Here is a good example of what can be seen on the two Stereo satellites from earlier today.

Nibiru to the fools and liars and Venus and Jupiter to the ones who take the time to learn about the tools they use (Stereo).

What you need to do is go to this page:

This figure plots the current positions of the STEREO Ahead (red) and Behind (blue) spacecraft relative to the Sun (yellow) and Earth (green). The dotted lines show the angular displacement from the Sun.

Pretty simple to understand right?

Unfortunately the zoomed out view show Jupiter is a bit cluttered but it is in the line of sight of Behind COR2.

Now, the truly ignorant will say that NASA are just making it appear that these are just planets passing across the field of view to hide Nibiru....well fortunately you can plot any time and date from 2007 till 2015, just click on the orbit tool link at the bottom of the page of the above link.

Two planets in the field of view of Stereo A, shame they'll be obscured by the sun...

The days leading up to the 21st will be interesting though, as Venus and Mercury move into the field of view of Stereo A.

I guarantee that when these two planets come into view, some moron will post it here on ATS claiming it to be Nibiru and get 100 flags...

You address a continual problem that frequently pops up here and elsewhere. I really don't have much else to add to this, other than the occasional clear-sky photo of the sun ....... depicting........ THE SUN! weeeeeee!

This is getting out of hand isn't it?

Another thing I've noticed with Nibiru folk, is whenever they give you more than one "source", like stereo or pictures taken with a camera or something, the object in question is NEVER in the same place.

They want you to believe that some huge celestial body is just jumping from on side of he Sun to another.

I can't wait till this is all over so we can laugh about it like Y2K and start fear mongering the next end of the world date.

Good thread but to be honest it will be ignored the believers will still see nibiru planet X.
They will say you cant see it cos you don't believe the madness never ends still funny threads.

Thank you! Time and time again a rational explanation is given to these people, but they just either refuse to listen or deliberately return with more of this garbage. And yes, I said "these people"; meaning those who view Youtube videos as all knowing prophetic deities. The ones who believe that esoteric knowledge lies within the confines of Google videos viewed by millions.

The internet is probably (next to the airplane, and automobile) the most important innovation, but it also comes with responsibility. Responsibility to realize that in a free run system, there are going to multitudes of complete garbage. The internet has to be treated with extreme scrutiny. Some just want to believe and spread garbage, some just want to feel important, and some are just out of their mind.

So while I do commend your thread, and I wish we had more rational and intelligent people such as yoursel around here, at the end of the day your thread itself is an exercise in futility. Nothing can stop the misguided Nilimbulu hoards.

What makes the "official" page any more credible source, than any other page? Isn't the government are the ones, who controll the thought flow of your minds and hinder your beliefs?
Whyshould we believe what the government has to say? Whom do you believe more: the government or yourself? Aren't we the ones who are the Lords of our fate? So, why do we follow the Shepherd then? If you think, that the government will ever tell you the truth on the "official" level, then my friends, you are in for a really big surprise.

On a deep level, it is not about if "nibiru" exists or not, it is about finding your resonance with the things that you want to believe in and follow, and not about the way of the Shepherd and his "true" way of the thought flow.

Nobody is keeping you in this "reality", you are always free to "unstuck" yourself. Yet, before "flying away without wings" isn't it wise to ask yourself a question why you were "stuck" here in the first place?

If you had read the whole OP, I address this.

You can generate the orbital positions of the satellites and nearby planets from 2007 to 2015.

Now, if all this was made up, how is it able to show the future path of Mercury, for example, starting to come into the field of view of Stereo A at around the end of this month?

I vote to make this a sticky in the 2012 forum with the following title:

"Before you post about Nibiru and the Stereo telescopes, READ THIS"

I am personally going to bookmark this thread and will use it for future reference anytime someone tries to pass off planets as being Nibiru by using the Stereo telescopes.

Unfortunately this thread will inevitably get buried under more and more crap posts about how NASA is really just lying to everyone about the existence of Nibiru.

Insofar as this thread -- and some related to it -- I believe that it is entirely about believing your own eyes. When people post photos or video of "two suns" and draw others into believing it, I think it is incumbent upon us to go outside and verify or refute those ideals ourselves.

I say in my profile, "I don't believe in Nibiru, but I can't help tracking its progress." That's a tad tongue-in-cheek, but in truth I really don't know. I DO KNOW that there is not a second "sun" visible from Earth right now. I take tons of sunset photos, and have posted several of them here on ATS. Sure, that's just proof that nothing was visible that day........ but consider the orbital energies that would have to be in motion to create a huge planetary body that was only visible by the sun sometimes. It defies logic and known science.

Is something coming? I don't know. I know that it will have to travel in excess of light-speed to be here in our arena of influence before the dreaded 2012 date.

I think most of all, we should guard against being lulled into a fabricated internet campaign. If you see it, photograph it, post it, we'll discuss it. Resist being lulled into "seeing" something for the joy of being a part of a movement that is doomed to failure.

I appreciated your perspective and your words. I don't think we're so far apart.

i must admit, the stereo images confuse me a bit, and I often completely get things wrong while looking at it, but I still don't go saying it's nibiru either....

If any large object, a planet or small star such as a brown dwarf, were headed our way we'd notice it's presence long before it arrived. The gravity of the incoming object would affect the other planets. Many Nibiru threads avoid this simple fact. They think that a planet orbiting another star could swing through our solar system without affecting our solar system and our solar system not affecting the other.

It simply does not work that way. Objects have gravity and affect each other.

Wellyou have beaten me to the punch. Bravo! I was just wondering that we in the west have brilliant amateur astronomyl magazines, most citieis have brilliant amateur astronomers. Most universities have decent astronomers and astrononomical societies...

How on earth is this planet supposed to appear with only a very amateur person noticiing this is extremely unlikely. But yet we have sceeds of stuff here on this that defies even the basic laws of physics.

Ehh not quite IMO. I completely understand your frustration. However your title attacks the "other lot". The majority of the posts that you mention comes from lack of research as you have so eloquently done in your OP.

You should re-word your title to focus on the issue and not as a deliberate attack/accusation upon the "misinformed" posters. Your point might be better examined that way. As it is now, the "lot" you're trying to reach are just going to blow this off as "dis-info". Just a notion...

You know, I spent ages trying to word the title, nothing really stuck, so I chose the lesser of the evils...so to speak.

Fortunately, I'm not here to cater to those that call me a disinfo agent or whatever.

Fair enough, your call in the end. Just wanted to bring it to the table is all. Hope the endeavor pays off.

I could care less what people use for SOHO images to say if it is Nibiru. To say that it can't happen is ludicrous. Anything is possible but bring forth true facts. the ancients tell a story something happened and i believe them before a bunch of "know-it-alls".

One day I am going to have to make a cartoon to make fun of a skeptics and even when proven wrong they still continue deny ignorance.

People aren't very good at astronomy or researching things. Often times I will see skeptics come in and lay the claims to rest by explaining which planet is appearing and then posters come in directly after that and say things like "I don't believe its Venus"

As though their preconceived bias is so strong that they would rather believe the object is Nibiru than a Celestial object that is both known to exist and known to be int he exact spot of the object in question...
