The issue isn't where you're flying it is where you live and where you bought it. People still forget to declare things/sneak them in and that risks a fine, but the problem isn't flying with an ipad. it's not declaring it

I didn't know you had to declare personal electronic devices. I thought it only applied to foods, plants, large sums of case or any drugs.

What is an item for declaration? Pictures? Panties? Reading material?

Never mind, I missed it in the article

Items brought into Israel worth more than around $200 are subject to duties.

So I guess panties, reading material etc could be items to declare. That's crazy.

It doesn't matter Jew or not. You go to Israel and you are not an Israeli citizen, your going to get messed with. Jews from the US have to deal with all kinds of nonsense when they go visit.

Edit to add: Bar Refaeli is Israeli and Jewish, so even being an Israeli citizen doesn't stop the nonsense.
