Peanut Allergy Cases Triple in 10 Years; Chemtrails?

More than 3 million Americans now have some kind of nut allergy, with cases of peanut allergy in children more than tripling between 1997 and 2008, according to a report released this week.

"These results show that there is an alarming increase in peanut allergies, consistent with a general, although less dramatic, rise in food allergies among children in studies reported by the [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention]," said lead researcher Dr. Scott Sicherer, professor of pediatrics at the Jaffe Food Allergy Institute at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. "The data underscore the need for more study of these dangerous allergies."

No one is certain what's behind the spike in food allergies.

The study performed by doctors in Scotland detected a significant increase in symptoms of allergic asthma and levels of antibodies to environmental allergic factors, such as dust mites, pets, and air pollutants over the three decades. Importantly, the researchers noted that there was an increase in the signs and symptoms of allergy, even in people without a family history of allergy!

The authors conclude that the factors within the environment seem to be contributing to an increased rate of asthma, regardless of a family history of allergy.

OK, so all this information tells me one thing.

We are under attack. First, pollute the air. Then pollute the waters. I think we are in the final stages of global depopulation. They have sucked up all the money through
the health industries, and housing industries, now they just need us "useless eaters" dead.

If it indeed was us, the human race, who introduced all of the above, maybe a fresh start is not such a bad idea.

Maybe we should take the responsibility for the current state of the world, instead of blaming some unknown power/group/entity.

i think i may have some info on this.

i developed an allergy to eggs.
then to shellfish.
then to nuts.

soon it was anything in a shell.
turns out i'm allergic to iodine, which is the ingredient all those things have in common. if it's in a shell, it contains iodine, apparently.

so i'm gonna blame it on iodized salt, for now. might be something else, but there's iodized salt on just about everything we eat. i couldn't think what else it could be.

Iodine is needed by human body to function at a normal level, I think. That is why salt, one of the most commonly used food products, is artificially iodinized.

It would be wise to discover the substance you are allergic to before you stop the iodine input.

Them might be us. It is the human race who invented trade. It was the human race that invented hierarchy and hierarhical society and organized religion to keep it all under control.

The above evolved and today we have what we have. My soul has nothing to do with it.

Can we not consider that humans in general are causing this, or that humans have generated all of this slowly, through history.

It is not always easy to think that there is nobody else to blaim but us.

Are the peanuts we use today genetically modified? Maybe Monsanto is to blame. OR are they simply discovering that more people are mildly allergic to peanuts than was known/diagnosed/reported prior to 1996?

With the extreme sheltering that today's children receive, it wouldn't surprise me if more parents are overreacting to what was considered normal in my day. I can remember, as a youth, eating large quantities of peanuts and I would become "itchy". I never reported it to my doctor, I just quit overeating the damn things.

The truth....lets put the truth out there. You are trying to tie in something that isn't true with poisoning peanuts! As I have no doubts that some foods are being ruined and causing health problems because of our artificial this and that, chemtrails ARE NOT THE REASON! Chemtrails are not true...people think there are actually people at airports filling up secret tanks/bladders with this chemical concoction to rain down over the populace to make us unhealhty, take over our minds, kill us, etc....yet NO ONE who supports this "chemtrail" BS ever wants to talk about why the powers behind such a thing would commit suicide???? Considering they drink the same water, breath the same air, and eat the same food...they too would be victims of their own plan.

Bottom line is...YES...the burning off of jet fuel, the dumping of the crapper tank, and standard polution from other MECHANICAL chemicals isn't good for us....but chemtrails, in the aspect people around here think they are, are not real.

Maybe it got something to do with overprotective parents not feeding the kids these things when young to get the body used to them
And also cleaner living standards with less dirt and bacteria around to strengthen the immune system when young and resilient

I am all for debating far out theories, because in some cases your right, we don't know. My issue with your theory is only the chemtrail portion because there is no way chemtrails exsist in the context that many ATS members believe them too. As I said, and if you read countless threads on the subject, many believe chemicals are being dispursed at high altitude to rain down over the population to PURPOSELY cause harm to us....but NO ONE who discusses and believes this theory ever wants to discuss why TPTB would do such a thing when they have to breath the same air, etc....its called LOGIC, and there is none used when people take these photos of chemtrails, discuss chemicals used in chemtrails, talk about where chemtrails are dispursed, etc....

I agree with you the experts don't have all the answers because there are still a lot of unexplained NATURAL causes to things. I also agree with the above poster that peoples immune systems are MUCh weaker then they used to be thanks to people not allowing kids to grow up like we used to. Are you onto something with the increase in Allergies...I think so...just wrong on the cause...IMO.

P.S. I am not judging you, I am telling you why I think your wrong and giving my OPINION as to why the chemtrail argument from ANYONE is silly.....once someone can explain why TPTB would kill themselves with "chemtrails" then i will be open to such things being true.

TPTB drive around in climate controlled cars, climate controlled homes, climate controlled building. TPTB are massing huge amounts of food, water and essential items to survive underground until the Chemtrail pollution subsides, once their agenda is achieved, or so they think.

They won't make it that far.

Doses of Atropine are being handed out, because the chemical concoction is about to change to Organophosphates, or VX nerve gas.

Ok well having climate control in NO WAY prevents you from breathing harsh chemicals. It may prevent them from getting to hot or to cold (just like my vehicle, house, and work building, and yours). Being handed out where and to whom? Also atropine, for the most part, will not save you...it will simply PROLONG your death....

OK folks..lets get real here! The reason for Nut allergies is ONE protein in Peanuts thats in ALL nuts. I have been allergic since birth and most folks who are allergic find out within the first two years they are alive. (peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are the usual reason for finding out) This protein can and does manifest itself as a problem latter in life for others!
Shell fish allergens are a different protein molecule that is responsible but is in the same class as the protein in Nuts. It can also become a problem for others later in life. Chemtrails have NOTHING to do with it.
Peanuts however, have been altered and may have something to do with how latter in life you become allergic!
