I am really wondering were was this plane built or even tested?

Would it be Area51, Palmdale, or Edwards?

Nothing is built at Area 51, they don't have production facilities there. They build them at other facilities (i.e. Palmdale), and transport them to Area 51 for testing.

I wonder how they transport them to Area 51 or Groom Lake?
Is it underground or air cargo transport?

If its air transport, then they might use a C-17 Galaxy or something. Something small like this baby could easily fit into one of these Galaxys...

During the 1960s and 70s it was by C-5, so I assume that it's the same today. It's the fastest and most secure way to get them there. Trucking them in would expose them to too much chance to be seen, even covered up by a tarp.

DARPA loses contact with it during test flight. Story here.

Holy cow, that would have been one expensive crash. Can you just imagine standing on an island in the pacific ocean somewhere and seeing this UFO looking plane crash into the sea

It was going to crash anyway. The flight profile called for the test flight, and then for it to crash into the Pacific at the end of the test. It just crashed a lot earlier than they planned.
