Saving the oil or saving the ocean???

The more I hear about what they are doing to stop the oli leak off of louisiana, the more it seems they are trying to do anything to save the oil output, and NOT stop it to save the environment...

NOW they want to stuff the hole with crap...tires and golf balls...c'mon! I thought I heard somewhere that golf-balls are poisoness to the envirenment-but i'm not sure.

I also don't see that the government either was responsive or actively involved now. SURELY we have resources at hand to get this under control...

I'm not an environmental fanatic, but we are killing the ocean and there is no end in sight...it's scary.
