Like InvisibleAlbatross said, it's up to you what you choose to listen to. Why should we ban it? There are many things that we "should" ban if we want to be morally correct, but it's not up to us to do so.

Also, please refrain from using the term "fascist" incorrectly. It really bugs me when people on these boards throw around political ideologies left and right thinking that it's okay for them to use the term to fit their own mindset. Christians banning music isn't fascist. It's controlling. Please look up fascism to get a complete view of what fascism actually is. Thanks.

Really now? Answer me this, Donovan, how is it that "Christian" people at "the top" monitor what "we" listen to now a days when so much crap seeps through the radio? I'm not just making a judgment based on my "religious" ideology, but rather logic. Take a listen to today's hottest music, and you'll find it's littered with talk about objectifying women, driving fancy vehicles, killing people you hate, and living the "great" life. Today's music has degenerated into nothing but pleasure-filled, tasteless and shallow lyrics. I tell you, if it was a Christian, or anyone with half a brain for that matter, that put people over profits and was running Sony/BMG/Virgin/GE/other big record companies, today's music would be much more tasteful.

If you like boring, repetitive and shallow music, that's your own tastes. However, I can assure you that no Christian is trying to control what you listen to. You're a big boy now!

I'm not a Christian, wouldn't be for money, but I have to represent for that song by the Rolling Stones, the "Bad Boys" of Rock & Roll in those days. The "Good Boys," of course, were the Beatles.

The song has always spoken to me, and what it tells me is that we, the human race, are the Devil we blame everything on, it is us, no other way to see it. Music is universal, nothing good or evil in it. Christians have a lot to learn.

I'm a Christian and was brought up a fundamentalist. To plainly answer, no, I wouldn't BAN any music or video. If hardcore porn + torture + rape + etc... isn't enough to convince peeps that there's evil in the world, then this video is kitten play in comparison.

I AM actually pretty tired of Christians being ONLY represented by the fundamentalist (much as I'm sure Islamist are tired of being represented by radicals in the media.) I have a belief that speaks to ME and helps ME deal with the troubles life brings. I don't try to shove it down anyone's throat, but if someone sees I'm happy on a regular basis and inquires, they're going to find out why.

Also, this concept that Christians are these party poopers with VERY narrow minded beliefs is grounded in the Baby Boomers generation and prior, and not so much ours (GenX if you will, blar how did we end up with that name anyways.) At any rate, there's SO much vitriolic intent towards Christians these days, that I'd like to set the record straight if I can. Yes many Christians hold to a very strict moral standard, but that doesn't make us predatory towards anything suggestive of opposing ideas/concepts.

When you're at a party drinking and having a good time, chances are, your Christian buddy is right there with you whether you realize it or not. Did Jesus not turn water into wine to keep the party going for his friends? I don't mean to lead anyone astray and think that I'm representative of ALL Christians, but I like to get my party on just like the next person. The only thing my religion speaks against is excess when it comes to this.

At the end of the day, God is bigger than any one religion and there's no way we as humans can wrap our heads around His (It's?) glory. To judge people as sinners or as going to hell for this or that is 100% AGAINST the tenants of the Bible. So, if for whatever reason you've encountered people like this, please have enough common sense to understand that everyone is different and everyone's experiences in this life are different. I for one like that song and the video was well done, thanks for sharing. As a Christian, I can say that regardless of whether you hate me or not, I Love You as a fellow human, and I hope you have a great day. God Bless.

Well I'm just a regular Christian. Not a fascist fundamentalist Christian if you will.

But no, why would I want the song banned? It's one of my favorite songs. I have every version of it that I know of by multiple artists and various mixes. Musically it's awesome.

Also, it's from the point of view of the Devil and what does he tell us? He portrays himself as very charismatic but also he is a liar, deceitful, and a murderer. Go back and listen to it again and hear how many people he kills in it like Jesus and JFK.

He's also telling us he played a part in the Holocaust and world wars killing millions. He also tells us he doesn't worship God and if you listen to the lyrics you'll also find out the Devil is claiming he's the cause of all the religious wars on the planet and watched with "glee" as they happened. He also warns us he's trying to steal our soul and make us lose our faith and he's been very successful at it in the past.


Why does God let bad things happen? Well this song is telling us why. It's the Devil telling us it's him doing it.

In fact, I wish more Christians would listen to this song so they'd know what they were dealing with.

Well I can see by the language you use in your posting that you consider all Bible believing Christians as right wing fascists under the control of Jewish zionists. That is typical Muslim rhetoric from extreme right wing Imams who exist in countries such as Iran who fell that the nation of Israel is some how a threat to their national security. (Wow - those 10 million or so Jews in Israel represent a threat to the security of 300 to 400 million Muslims!!!). You mention "right wing fascist Christians up high" but fail to mention any names.
