Excavation Now Happening Under the Sphinx' Paw! Was Edgar Cayce Right?

Excuse me if anyone has mentioned this but it may be of relevance. I believe it is known that there is a chamber under the Sphinx, I'm pretty sure I saw it on a television show.

Hawas took the host down into the chamber, it looked pretty bare and Hawas was saying how they didn't find anything down there. They went further down and the room was clearly filled with water and there were planks of wood layed out to walk across.

While I found it very interesting and was surprised that the water table was so accessible when modern Egypt is considered such an arid place but apparently it wasn't that big of a deal.

Unfortunately I can't remember the show I was watching but it was probably on the History Channel or another like it. I'll look around and see if I can dig up any information.

This Hawas individual appers in many many sources...I never heard about him until now.

Seventeen days remaining in 1998; as today, December 14, 1998 draws to a close I am ready to begin the sojourn to the location of the Hall of Records/Temple of the Great Pyramid. My journey really began many years ago on this subject. On November the 10th. I posted on this web site three pictures taken from the air of the Great Sphinx and surrounding areas. Photos a. and b., looking northwest, I placed an (X) to mark the spot or location of the Hall of records and then in photo c. I changed the aerial perspective looking east and asked the question, who could figure out where it was in Photo c.. I chose the high aerial photos for a reason, which will become apparent as I zoom in on this location, I want to impress upon you all the size of these monuments and how small a person is standing in their shadows. The history and ownership of this piece of property will be revealed all the way back to 1851 by a dear Egyptian friend of mine for over 17 years, Mr. (Mondy) Ahmed Mohammed Abdelhadi Fayed.
In memory and honor to my hidden teacher and friend, I humbly dedicate this story to him, a true Egyptian who loved the tourist who came to visit the pyramids, almost like an Ambassador . This is really his story and a history of the events surrounding this sacred spot that I am about ready to reveal to you. Even armed with my own skills and experiences in locating and verifying the details of its discovery, I couldn't have validated my discovery and learned what I am about ready to tell you without gaining his trust and permission to make a video and print his FAMILY Secrets of over 147 years regarding this Temple buried just six feet under the ground. I followed his guidance and learned his knowledge of the history of the Giza plateau. His father was a very famous Archeologist. He was the one who really found the entrance to Djosers' Pyramid in Saqqara and found one of the stele now residing in front of the Cairo Museum today. Mondy and his four (4) brothers all worked in the excavation of the monuments with their father. As some of you know I have been working on this and other stories to post to the web for several months now. I had planned a different introduction but yesterday around 9AM Pacific Standard Time I received a couple of calls from Egypt notifying me that my friend, Ahmed Mohammed Abdelhadi Fayed, AKA (Mondy) had just passed away. The news sent flashes of memories of him through my mind. Reminding me how long we had been at this and how precious the moments were that we spent together. His memories live on in me. Mondy had been ill for some time now. In December 1997, while I was in Egypt, he entered the hospital in critical condition. I was financially able to help pay for the operation necessary to keep him alive. Humanity is lucky God gave him an extra year with us. Again, in March of this year, I visited him in Egypt and he was looking better, I was so happy he was still alive and doing well. During my June trip, (see photo above), he was well enough to accompany me to the piece of property he used to own and granted me permission to do an interview on video with him revealing the location of a temple that he and his father had unearthed in 1956; over 42 years ago. I video recorded this conversation, and it will be the backbone of this story that is about ready to unfold for you. In this true story, you will hear details about Dr. Hawass and Mark Lehner, with Edgar Cayce foundation backing, entering the Hall of Records/Temple of the Great Pyramid, 15 years ago. Lets back up the clock a bit from 1998 by subtracting fifteen (15) years to take us to 1983. What was Zahi Hawass and Mr. Lehner doing during that time? What did Mr. Edgar Cayce say concerning 15 years before the opening of the "Hall of Records"? Did he give a hint that they might be in there 15 years before it would or could be opened to the world? The statements of Mr. Cayce will also help guide me through the confusion surrounding this discovery. It was because of his readings that I first began to look into what he was saying about the "HOR" and by following the instructions of his readings in 1981, while in Egypt, and applying my navigation skills, I navigated myself to the location of the Hall of Records/Temple of the Great Pyramid. I got my confirmation from digging into the minds of the modern pyramid workers living in the shadows of pre history. But before I begin, I would like to say something regarding the current state of affairs in Egypt as they relate to me.. I wanted to return to Egypt in September, as I have been going to Egypt every three months for the last two years. However, in June of this year, some very personal threats were being directed at me by powerful people in Egypt. Such as, life threatening statements attributed to the Minister of Culture Farouk Hosney like, "I am going to bury Larry Hunter seven (7) kilometers under the ground where no one will ever find him again". Dr Hawass was also present for those comments, as the person relating the incident to me also described how he was beaten by Antiquities Police in Abasaya, headquarters for the Supreme Command of Antiquities and interrogated by the Minister, Hosney and Director General of the Pyramids, Dr Zahi Hawass about me. This person told them both, Larry Hunter is not a thief, you are the thief's stealing antiques, whack- a hit to the head again or electrically shocked as the story goes. I was horrified by what I heard and saw from this modern Pyramid worker at the hands of people such as these.... I decided to forgo my September arrangements. In addition, because of one I had trusted and to whom I had revealed many personal things to, turned on me and went over to the dark side. This former friend and confidant, used my friendship and knowledge and personal secrets as a bargaining chip to enter into their inner world and gain the trust of the same people I was trying to expose. Very dangerous for all the people he betrayed.

These are individuals who I allege are guilty of serious crimes against humanity, and here this one betrayed me, by telling them who I talked to and what I had done and what I knew. Apparently not yet satisfied with his work, he added insult to injury by making many false statements about me, and even filed police reports against me with the Tourist Police near the Pyramids, stating I wanted to kill Dr Zahi Hawass. This guaranteed my return to Egypt would be turbulent and dangerous. Was this the plan all along? So, I am saddened now, knowing that these events have kept me from my friend and possibly being in a position to help him again if he needed me. I was planning a trip to Egypt this month but now I no longer have my hidden teacher to confide in or ask questions of. I only have my photos, videos, and memories now to guide me in telling you what he knew. I'll miss you Ahmed Fayed but I promise to tell your story and keep your memories and good name alive in the hearts and minds of future generations.

Dr. Hawass is the "Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities" and is in virtually every episode of any tv show about Egypt, he is well known as vehement in his protection of Egyptian antiquities. However, he is retiring soon.

I'm doing some reading about Edgar Casey, thought I would share.

Edgar Cayce (March 18, 1877 - January 3, 1945), (the surname pronounced "Casey") is generally remembered as an American psychic who gave trance discourses on subjects like astrology, reincarnation, and Atlantis. He may have been the source for the idea that California would fall into the ocean (though he never said exactly this). Although Cayce lived before the emergence of the New Age movement, he remains a major influence on its teachings.

Mr. Cayce's theories on the end times of this planet are very enlightening and show a global major change in 1998. He prophecized the Sphinx had been built in 10,500 BC and that survivors of Atlantis had concealed beneath it a "Hall of Records" containing all the wisdom of their lost civilization and the true history of the human race. Cayce prophesied that this Hall of Records would be rediscovered and opened between 1996 and 1998. He connected the opening to the second coming of Christ.


The Cayce readings state that the records were saved prior to the final destruction of Atlantis around 10,500 B.C. Stone tablets, linens, gold, and other artifacts are stored in the Halls. The records relate the entire history of humanity including the beginnings “when the Spirit took form or began the encasements”.

In Egypt, A.R.E. members Joe Jahoda and Dr. Joseph Schor have been unable to obtain permission to do further additional radar analysis of the 25 x 40 foot underground cavern that they discovered near the Sphinx in 1997. NASA scientists verified the cavern and Jahoda and Schor were allowed to do limited drilling in order to drop cameras down for a better look.

In a July 2001 article on the web site of the National Geographic Society, Zahi Hawass, Director General of the Giza Plateau, is said to have recently “urged other archaeologists to join him in a two year moratorium on all excavations in the area from Giza to Aswan.” The only explanation given is Hawass’ concern for the preservation of the existing monuments.

Zahi Hawass has responded emphatically that he is unaware of any evidence for hidden chambers or cavities in the Great Pyramid.

In 2004, Zahi Hawass announced that the University of Birmingham (UK) was performing an extensive ground-penetrating radar study of the area between the Sphinx and Great Pyramid to find the tunnels and chambers there. Hawass also related that the tunnel under the Sphinx had not been fully cleared of debris.

I think its very possible that what Cayce experienced and what others experience of 'going below the sphinx' is some place that may not be experienced in this physical world as we hope it can.

I think its very possible, since this is a place that holds all the memories of Earth...that this is another dimension that these people experience, and the sphinx is only a porthole for it , the guard.

Something my mother was told about this place was that records are being kept even to this day. That just because she doesnt see anyone keeping records, does not mean that someone is not. If we read about Thoth....the scribe...this makes me thing about the books she saw with the bird on them. I think we are possibly looking at a place that is connected with Earth...but in the higher planes of vibrations, protected in some way, mabey like the astral plane.

The higher mysteries of our world never seems to be in plain sight.

It makes you wonder how did the texts that exist in the Internet of "The Emerald Tablets of Thoth" came from.

10 years ago, I 'bribed' my way into one of those 'gated storage facilities'. The one I saw was actually a tomb with lots of pictograms etc that were being saved from tourist destruction. There were crates in there back then. But I don't recall how many or the size of them. As for the video, well, none of the actual dig close-ups give a pictorial link to the Sphinx. Granted, they do work around there to keep the Sphinx clear of sand and debris, but until Mr. Hawas decides to reveal what is going on, everything is just speculation.

There's a lot of present day speculation by the New Age proponents and their public that there may have been an advanced civilization prior to the Egyptians. Has there been ANY physical evidence, whatsoever, that this is even possible?

Dr. Hawass: Not a single piece of material culture - not a single object - has been found at Giza that can be interpreted to come from a lost civilization. But so far there has been no hard evidence to support the theory of a prior civilization. Even if rain water eroded the Sphinx (which is not very probable), it could not have washed away every single trace of an advanced civilization!

What about the supposed "new" doorway on the north side of the Sphinx?

Dr. Hawass: The lower part of the Sphinx body is covered by layers of ancient and modern repair masonry. In 1926, when he cleared the Sphinx, the French engineer Emile Baraize found that a large patch of the ancient masonry cover had fallen away from the bedrock body of the Sphinx on its north side. Several of his photographs show some kind of recess behind the fallen masonry. Baraize recovered this area as part of his restorations - so this has been seen already. It may be nothing more than a deep recess in the natural rock of the Sphinx body. If we reopen the underlying masonry layers of this area, it will be in the course of the ongoing restoration work, and not to look for secret tunnels.

As you know many people, particularly of the "New Age" ilk, are very interested in finding what they call the "Hall of Records" , supposedly (according to the psychic Edgar Cayce) located underneath the Sphinx. What do you think about this search for such a Hall of Records?

Dr. Hawass: I do not believe in this "Hall of Records". The Sphinx has been thoroughly excavated. My friend and colleague, Mark Lehner and I investigated it ourselves in 1979. Nothing like a Hall of Records has been found in or near the Sphinx.

There is also a prominent rumor about a secret passageway underneath the Sphinx, could you comment on that as well?

Dr. Hawass: To date, there are only three known passages connected with the Sphinx. Two of these might have actually been made by treasure hunters long after the Sphinx was sculpted. In 1837 Howard Vyse created a crater just behind the head of the Sphinx, and Mark Lehner and myself explored this again in 1979. We also located a passage at the tail, under the restoration masonry. It is about 9 meters (27 feet) long and comes to a dead end. A vertical shaft descends down through the Sphinx body from the top of the waist. This is actually a widening of a large natural fissure that cuts through the entire site of the Sphinx. Before modern restorations, it opened more than two meters wide across the top of the back. Then there is the sealed recess on the north side of the Sphinx body which we've already discussed, and we expect to open this soon, but I don't expect to find anything in there.

I have always been interested in Egypt i have read about everything on it,i remember reading along time ago that something amazing was buried undernesth the Spinx something to do with where human life actually oringated,i think the anicient Egyptions were not of this earth and recorded those facts and where life as we know it really comes from,But hey i could be wrong,not afraid to admit

I'm starting to think that the pyramids might not have been constructed by Egyptians at all...I'm not saying that they weren't constructed by beings from this Earth. But they had to be really advanced do build something like that. All this time when we look at our scholar books, and we have been told the they were the primitive ones. How could we have been so stupid. They had a lot of spiritual knowledge, astronomy Etc. Were did they pick that up from?
There are only two choices here. Either extraterrestrial or brought from an even more ancient civilization .

The writings of Thoth are so very interesting....it is really too bad we dont have any real tablets to judge from and observe. We have no way to prove they are not something that has been created rather recently. I would love to know where the texts that we can read via the internet do come from myself!

I know my mothers experience can not prove anything...but she is a lady who does not believe in aliens ect...until after her NDE....she looked straight in my eyes...and said....we had alot of help building those pyramids.

Its not proof, but it all sits in the back of my mind.

Just a little background on the Emerald Tablets for you. They are not recently created.

"The oldest documentable source for the text is the Kitab Sirr al-Asrar, a compendium of advice for rulers in Arabic which purports to be a letter from Aristotle to Alexander the Great. This work was translated into Latin as Secretum Secretorum (The Secret of Secrets) by Johannes "Hispalensis" or Hispaniensis (John of Seville) ca. 1140 and by Philip of Tripoli c. 1243.

In the 14th century, the alchemist Ortolanus wrote a substantial exegesis on "The Secret of Hermes," which was influential on the subsequent development of alchemy. Many manuscripts of this copy of the Emerald Tablet and the commentary of Ortolanus survive, dating at least as far back as the 15th century.

The Tablet has also been found appended to manuscripts of the Kitab Ustuqus al-Uss al-Thani (Second Book of the Elements of Foundation) attributed to Jabir ibn Hayyan, and the Kitab Sirr al-Khaliqa wa San`at al-Tabi`a ("Book of the Secret of Creation and the Art of Nature"), dated between 650 and 830 AD."

I have always been fascinated with Edgar Cayce and his "dream prophecies". Wouldn't it be wild if the Hall of Records actually does exist and it does contain the lost history of mankind. I have been following this closely and just recently wrote an article on the subject:

These three halls were supposed to be located in Atlantis near present day Bimini, somewhere in the Yucatan Jungle and under the paws of the Great Sphinx.

Yes I read about this already. According to Edgar Cacey, during his hypnosis sessions he claimed that there's suppose to be 3 of them spread across the world.

That doesn't seem so deep after all. From the Facebook wall of Brooks Agnew he says that it's about 100 feet bellow the sphinx. Hows this in meters??

What I was saying though...was that the actual Emerald Tablets, though talked about...can not be found nor viewed. We see pics on the net of such a thing...but there is no real Emerald Tablet for us to observe and study.

For such a tablet to be around....it would be very old, thousands of years old.

To KNOW it was a real thing created by Thoth (and not Hermes) is something we cant know for sure.

People wna to attach Hermes and Thoth but many cultures did this with their leaders/gods. Many Egyptian gods were connected by man from another culture as one in the same as their god or gods...but I dont say I know this would be correct.

Wow. All I can say is that I love this post. I have been wondering about this for years. I have read some of Thomas Sugrue's book...Story of Edgar Cayce: There Is a River. It was a long time ago, but I was very intrigued by him.

I have always been fascinated with the Egyptians. I hope we do find the Hall of Records, and the answers inside. But if they do find these things will they ever tell us? Maybe the wrong people know the truth. Who knows.
