Idiots in Heaven

Never have I sensed the urgency that I sense now to get right or get left.

Look, the family of God is a big family. The family of God is made up of many members.

No! None of us members of the body of Christ have it all figured out. Some of us are real idiots yet, we are forgiven for that too. That is why "Mercy" (undeserved favor) is so great. We can sometimes be real idiots and still be saved. It is up to the individual believer to stop being as much of an idiot as he/she was prior to salvation.

It takes time to stop being an idiot. It took time to become one. After a person is saved, then we must renew our minds according to the Word of God. This may take time, and we all fail miserably from time to time.

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." (Romans 12:2)

With this said, I started this thread stating "Never have I sensed the urgency that I sense now to get right or get left."

This being posted in the "Prediction Discussion Forum" I am predicting that at the "gathering together" of the Church, some call the "Rapture," there will even be Christians who have not renewed their minds to the Word of God and are still acting like idiots.

In an earthly family when a Will is read, some members of the family are Willed much. Other family members are Willed little if any.

When the awards are given out in heaven for faithful service in the Kingdom of God, some will be given much, some will make it in by the skin of their teeth. But, at least they are saved. And, at least they are still family members.

Why the urgency? Part of it can be understood by watching a youtube (12 part) video called "Daniel's Timeline." I had no part in this video, but to me this is a must see! Faith comes by hearing. After watching the video, ask the risen Lord to save you and He will.

He saved an idiot like me!

I wanna go to Heaven for the weather and Hell for the company.

Hey, just follow Jesus and you will be in Heaven.

Unless it is all a lie.

If it is a lie, just try and have a nice life.

But I definitely believe in Jesus.

Except a Christians final destination is not 'heaven' but a renewed earth.

The creation is to be rebooted without the clitches and bluescreens this time.

Where the Lord is, there we will also be. I believe the believers first stop is in Heaven, Which includes "The Bema," Christian judgement of sorts. Then we will return with the Lord for his 1000 year reign. Thats what I meant when I said we are going to heaven.

If I sounded condesending, I apologize for any offense. We are all a little different.

Why does it seem like a lot of folks are so touchy? Maybe another prophecy coming true!
