GULF WAR TO START AROUND 18TH MARCH

I think the US and UK may start the Air Campaign on Friday or Saturday....maybe before. If the French, Germans, or Russians veto the new resolution the US, UK, and the rest of the smart countries aren't bound to the March 17th deadline.

Well that could be debated.
I do agree that Americans like their War toys, and they have a reason to, there the best toys around!
I think that the missile defence system has a lot of work in front of it to fix it up though it's a necessity in this day and age.
Australia has also signed up. We have big cities to protect-Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and our capital Canberra.
The experts think that the MDS will block 95% of missiles aimed at us. Not perfect though very effective.
North Korea is approx. 5000 km away from Sydney and it's getting pretty uncomfortable knowing that North Korea has these International Ballistic Missiles.
Australia has also signed up for that JSF program, so it's pretty safe to say that Australia likes to play with American toys too......... At a price of course.
