What happens if lightening stikes?
Are methane gasses trapped under the water or under the layer of oil or has it all evaporated?
Will the gulf become a matzl-tov cocktail?
Did you know the Coast Guard is out in the gulf burning oil patches? if lightining struck it would just help the USCG, one less fire they have to set.

The stuff going under the boom is the dispersed stuff (oil floats) and it is not the kind of stuff that will kill and blacken the birds and other sea life.
THATS the stuff she should have scooped up! the lab would have told her it was Dawn Dish soap!
Our hazard evaluation has identified the following chemical substance(s) as hazardous. Consult Section 15 for the
nature of the hazard(s).
Hazardous Substance(s) CAS NO % (w/w)
Distillates, petroleum,
hydrotreated light 64742-47-8 10.0 - 30.0
Propylene Glycol 57-55-6 1.0 - 5.0
Organic sulfonic acid salt Proprietary 10.0 - 30.0
jimmy jimmy jimmy, it disperses into the sea water. the dispersant is just glorified dawn dish soap.

pretty soon the gulf of mexico will be renamed the gulf of oil...glad i don't live down there. by the way...has anybody done any testing for deadly gasses arising from this massive spill? when they use the word "dispersal" that means that petrochemicals are being vaporized up into the air that people breathe.

Chicken little. Do you know the amount of oil it takes to create a sheen?
2 cups of oil creates an ACRE size sheen.
