New Research Revealed: Environmentally Caused Cancers Are 'Grossly Underestimated'

May 6, 2010 | The President's Cancer Panel on Thursday reported that "the true burden of environmentally induced cancers has been grossly underestimated" and strongly urged action to reduce people's widespread exposure to carcinogens.

The panel advised President Obama "to use the power of your office to remove the carcinogens and other toxins from our food, water, and air that needlessly increase health care costs, cripple our nation's productivity, and devastate American lives."

I am sure he'll get right on that. I commend the Cancer Panel for their gumption. I don't think however, that Big Pharma would agree. The perpetual Cancer Machine must never be aloud to stop running.
