Romaine Lettuce Recall Linked to Rare E. Coli Strain

Another thing though if it is from human waste, that we need to realize, that many farms now are using septic tank waste for there crops. If this is the case here, then I will never buy any vegetables from the stores again. I stopped buying Maine potatoes that came from Garland Maine when I found out they were doing just that.

In fact living in Maine I saw what they were doing and it sickened me, I have since then found out that a few NC farmers use it on there soy crops. Just disgusting.

I see waste water trucks (think porta potty in a blender) spraying liquid waste on fields in Pennsylvania.

Athough I believe theese fields are used for cattle-feed production.

Most of the farmers here still use the manure speader flinger thing but only seen and smelled it done before the crops are planted.
