This is interesting and haven't heard much on it other than the two stories above. Interesting that North Korea would want to attack an oil rig. That would be a crime against humanity and not just America. If this is true then this will be a war. I just hope that it was a gas bubble and not a torpedo.

I am inclined to think that with the US's array of underwater sonar systems, and our own sub fleet, we would be able to track a N. Korean sub off our coast.

Unless they have some new sub tech for completely silent running, which even then would not be completely impossible to track.

This news and another US sub off of guam hitting an underwater mound kind of makes one go ....REALLY???

In my opinion this is a weak attempt by the PTB to give us an excuse to go to yet another war, hopefully (so far so good) we have the intelligence as citizens to see through such a transparent and outrageous concept.

lol, N.K. can barely feed it's people and you guys believe they are picking a war with the U.S? I seriously doubt they had anything to do with it. I'm certian they pick at South Korea but the U.S.?

If TPTB wanted to blame this on NK, or anyone for that matter, why would they have let BP take full responsibility for the clean up.

Didn't they say the explosion occurred due to a spark during work down there?

I think you'll find it's quite the opposite here, the majority of posters are saying its hard to believe, and its more plausible that this is some stab by the PTB to play the blame game and hand over responsibility to some other faction (with the added option of going to war over it). Lets not forget, this is what our economy is designed to thrive on.

I'm sure they'll realize this isn't going to float (no pun intended) and they'll dismiss the entire concept in the near future, and anyone seen stating this is a possibility will probably be labeled crackpot conspirators.

Also, the oil rig was owned by BP, "British" Petroleum... not exactly the most "American" target you could choose...
