The US, the South Koreans, and third parties are all saying the damage appears to be the result of a torpedo launches by North Korea. It wasnt an accident it was intentional. If you havent noticed yet Little Kimmy is crazier than an outhouse rat.

The North Korean regime is extremely dangerous and reprehensible, but I wouldn't call them "crazy." They have their own internal logic, although it is shoddy, faulty, and as noted, very dangerous.

The regime is turning to militarism to prop up support for by their own people, which is crumbling. Their propaganda monoploy over their own people is falling apart as the borders become more porous. The North Korean people are now getting a good look at the outside world for the first time in decades through smuggled DVDs, camcorders, mobile phones, and fluid human movement in the northwest area of the nation (border with china). The result is the North Koreans are liking their own government less and less. To prop itself up, it is turning to increasing military rhetoric.

Viewed from the outside, its antagonism to its neighbors seems crazy. Yet a look from a more internal perspective shows that, while dangerous and wrong-headed, it is more a sign of desperation than craziness per se.
