Agreed. I don't think that we'll see Warlockandjudge anytime again soon.
But if so, I do have some questions for him/her ...

Edit to add: And Wayne, and Judy and even the OP

I also agree, but I think in this 'drop-in's' case, he/she
may have been trying to send us to some more dodgy
information that would've implied other astounding claims.

It is annoying when a hoaxer lays out their wares and because
human nature desires it, you assume they're telling you the
truth. I think the investigations done here on this thread area
are a testimony to the people who've sifted and searched this
yarn... well done all.

For me...? I'm just jazzed to be on the show, man!

Yes in normal circumstances, but in this case there are so many obvious holes in his/her rebuttals that this isn't the case at all.

I could provide numerous links to the "she has lived all her life in Sweden" that shows this isn't true.

Same goes with the sex change notion. But lets face it - that wasn't the the issue at all here. I don't think anyone on this thread cares what sex he/she is/was.

That was just a delicious twist in an already twisted tale!

Actually Nettie, I enjoyed the chase, although I didn't put
in the detective work that others -like yourself, did.
I suppose the trick to all this is to keep your eye on the
brass ring... the original claim of the thread.

It seems to me, that we were treated to small side-roads to
dabble in, that implied by their ordinary comments, that the
over-all claim must be true.

The idea of 'humanising' the characters in this tale was a
cunning move... the possible abduction, the worry, the relief
of knowing she was safe, but the dark forces were stopping
her telling the truth... great stuff!

The only down-side for the creators of this fiction, was that
most here, eagerly jumped on this Wayne character's connection
to selling his own books... the vigilence of ATSers saves the day.

I think all should be proud of themselves, the ATS castle remains
safe!

You know, I'll say it again - is there really that much money in UFO and related hoaxes? I wouldn't have thought so - but then maybe I'm naive in the hoaxing world.

Although I did find a link initially that said that Wayne Herschel had on his website that one could contribute to the publishing of his books for a measly $25,000 - however my browser's cache has blown a head gasket in the last couple of weeks and my bookmarks are longer than brown snake, so I can't find it any more.

And as for the characters in this tale - well, you couldn't have put it better than in your movie script [sans Crying Game music - what a ripper] - although I think Matthew McConaughey aka Sahara fame would be perfect (minus the Texan accent). Though sadly I think he's considered over the hill now.

Take care

well i for one have thoroughly enjoyed this thread and met some fantastic and fun fellow detectives, im a bit sad that its pretty much done and dusted, hopefully warlockandjudge will stop by again and maybe keep it alive a little longer but if not then hopefully we can all find an equally interesting thread to work together on, ive bee lucky so far in having two extremely long interesting hoax threads to work on since i signed up including this one and the u.f.o over sydney thread. i just hope another comes along quickly so that im not just "loitering" and "surfing" different threads.

thanks

one huge question that i totally forgot to ask warlockandjudge is that if judy has never been jimmy and was born in sweden and always lived there then how is it that she and warlockandjudge knows so much about Michael Hesemann?. because if judy was never jimmy and was never involved in the kalahari u.f.o hoax and has always been a swedish citizen then surely mr Hesemann and judy would never have met.! . sorry warlockandjudge but you have shot yourself in the foot with your badly thought out messages and answers and have only added more proof that judy was jimmy and a hoaxer instead of defending her, in fact my conclusion is that YOU ARE JUDY/JIMMY VAN GREUNEN/FALTSKOG/FORBES !!!.

thanks

thanks for the mention but there are many others that deserve a mention more than me for their great contribution, so you need to add a few to that list. bedlam, dcmb1490, nonethtu, DrHammondStoat, butcherguy and not forgetting Michael Hesemann who was so kind in e mailing me the final and factual pieces of this puzzle. those guys/gals as well as biad and netties hermit who you have already mentioned did some fantastic work to find the truth, cosmicpixie also deserves a mention for posting it originally and putting up with some uncalled for attacks!.

thanks

I'll smile and nod, Vesta... but it's Nettie and RICH that has done
all the work, I'm just wheeled on for the levity points!

@RICH-ENGLAND
Don't worry RICH, there'll be more of 'em to dig out, the quest

A radio telescope, ya don't say.

Receiving signals in the OPTICAL spectrum, ya don't say.

I think if you check the postings, you'll find that the
area you're hinting at, as been covered.
Radio Telescope - UV signals... yep.

Great thread.

Just a quick update to the comments made on page 63 of this thread about an important scientific discovery likely to be made in early June, 2010.

Scientists have just discovered the probability of life on Saturn's moon, Titan.

This discovery was predicted 5 years ago to within a few days. (Proof:
web.archive.org... )

sorry adrian but i really dont see how that is relevant to this HOAX thread or what you said before, that is a very dubious statement you just made!.

scientists discover the "PROBABILITY" of life. first of all i dont see how PROBABILITY counts as a scientific discovery, secondly if its just been announced then the discovery was most likely made ages ago because scientists like to check and re check their theories over a long period of time before making an announcement, and thirdly as ive said before scientific discoveries and breakthroughs are made every day so how is what you say relevant!.

also vague predictions about allsorts of things are made every day, make enough of them and eventually one will come true! its the law of averages, now if your prediction had been a lot more detailed and specific then maybe i would take notice but i wont because weve heard all this prediction garbage for ever and a day, i mean seriously, ive already passed about 5 end of world predictions in my lifetime and im sure ill pass a few more! lol
sorry but you are clutching at straws to fit your theory!!!.

thanks

Is there a chance it's linked to that microquasar that is emitting unusual signals ?

is what linked to a microquasar?. a hoax?. do you think a hoax lie about a U.V signal supposedly received on a RADIO telescope made up by a sex changed .u.f.o hoaxer is linked to a microquasar?. please elaborate?

thanks

A quasar could indeed emit perplexing signals, and has fooled radio astronomers before, but the statement that these signals were received as UV signals on a radio telescope, shows the entire exercise to have been fabricated. Even a quasar can't change the internal electronics of a radio telescope to make them receive light signals.
