USA: NYC Bombing Designed To Destroy Militias?

I know there are other threads about the NYC attempted bombing but i wanted to cover a seperate angle, my apologies if someone else posted this.

It's amazing to me they are able to rule out al-Qaeda so quickly but even so are we seeing a conspiracy in action? Look i don't usually go into the conspiracies but the militias have been causing trouble in the USA lately. Some members have been raided, the media seems to play up the idea that all militia members are nut jobs with to many guns and a wide streak of racism.

Is this whole thing a plot to set up a raid on militias? to get public support behind the government before it acts. I mean this thing didn't go off and lets face it, militias tend to have plenty of ex military people who could wire something properly.

It just smells bad to me.

I dont think it's just militias
but everyone who owns a gun
or anybody they deem a threat
to their regime.

It's for Martial Law across the board.
But it isn't gonna work. Cuz most folks
know that militias are good people.

I do agree with this however lets face it, the militias tend to be well trained and many have various plans that all members know. If a resistance were to form against the government then the militias, along with soldiers not on side with the government would provide the leaders.

I disagree, you don't seem to understand what motivates a politician

This martial law talk has been going on for MANY years
I had a friend from Virginia who talked the same talk 10+ years ago,
forgive me for saying this, but I think this narrative is more common to certain regions,
it creates excitement and exhilaration, nothing like impending doom to extenuate
the senses...
Remember the BEST and most ABSOLUTE form of control is the control that is undetectable...

I highly doubt it in this case.

Look at the location, the timing, the whole picture. While I certainly think something more than is played out, or will play out is at hand, I think this, as a use to undermine the newly resurrected militia ideals, is not probable. While not out of the question, the reasoning behind this does not seem to be an American for militia or libertarianism, tea party, etc. It's out of place and out of context.

All they have so far is a white male so it's ahrd to speculate on the motives of the perpertrator. If it turns out to be a militia guy or someone with ties to a militia then i think it makes my suggestion more likely. If it turns out it is not a militia guy then i'll have egg firmly upon my face

Still a little speculation is sometimes healthy right?

I'm not really seeing why it is out of place or context. All that the government requires to crack down on militia is public support. If a militia member is found trying to commit a terrorist action that involves a car bomb the government has the perfect opportunity to tell the public about other suspected plots. If other members are then arrested from a range of militias and evidence provided to show militias are a danger then public support may well lead to the abolition of militia. That's a long way down the road of course.

Still this could set the scene for such an action. Or of course it could be one lone nut job.

Would appear that your Militia are being victimized and smeared of late .But here is another angle to consider , look at the timing of the Iranian Presidents visit to NYC and no I am not implying Iranian involvement in any way .Just a universal coincidence that all .

I think personally its the eskimos, they do not like america because of your freedoms.

America must have been shocked to find some people they have not tried to kill or torture yet, the eskimos did it, they hate your freedoms, that you can buy ps3.

Agreed, their are a rising number of Islamic converts getting involved in the radical aspect of the religion and it's entirely possible that this is another Colleen Rose aka Jihad Jane, John Walker Lindh, Adam Gadahan, etc
