Orlando Citizen Observer program?

I was at the Lowe's today on Semoran in Orlando, and in the parking lot was this car all decked out calling itself a "citizen observer". it gave me a nasty look as I drove by, so I circled back around and snapped a picture.



it looks like it's officially sanctioned by the OPD. why they are staking out a parking lot of a home improvement store is a little strange. Has anyone else seen this?

it looks like i would meet all the OPD qualifications. it could be good practice at polygraph tests, if nothing else.

Thats kind of a strange thing. Not surprising in our growing police state.
Was he wearing a brown shirt perhaps?

I am originally from orlando and never saw these guys growing up there. I have family that works for the city of orlando, I'll put out a few feelers and see if they have any clue as to what's goin on with these "citizen observers"
I know florida faces the same illegal problem that we have here in ga and all the other states where illegal immigration is a huge problem. Off the top of my head I would guess that this car was looking for the illegal workers that often hang out in the big DIY store parking lots looking for work.

Im thinking the above is dead on... Its an ICE car. Theyre trying to be slick, but illegals see flashers on a ride and scatter like, well illegals... (lol)




Also, just another notch in the ever growing Police World in which we now reside...
