PRESIDENT OBAMA has been caught in a shocking cheating scandal after being caught in a Washington, DC Hotel with a former campaign aide, sources say.

And now, a hush-hush security video that shows everything could topple both Obama's presidency and marriage to Michelle!

A confidential investigation has learned that Obama first became close to gorgeous 35 year-old VERA BAKER in 2004 when she worked tirelessly to get him elected to the US Senate, raising millions in campaign contributions.

www.nationalenquirer.com...

Ah, here we have the National Enquirer. What better way to discount a story than to have it appear here first?

However, in the wake of recent events, especially those relating to cheating spouses, the Enquirer has shown itself to be on target. Even going so far as to hope for a Pulitzer!

National Enquirer shocks journalistic establishment with run for Pulitzer prize
From The Times
www.timesonline.co.uk...

It is the master of celebrity gossip; the king of the supermarket tabloids and one of the most scurrilous yellow journals in America. Now, however, after decades spent titillating and shocking its readers, the National Enquirer is threatening to become respectable

The Enquirer were the first to be on the JOhn Edwards scandal, which did turn out to be true, as we all know now.

Is it possible this is where Obama was the night he went to his daughters' soccer game? Or yet another night he escaped the clutches of the MSM only to find himself being tailed by the ones who are presenting now as "real journalists"?

We all know the MSM has let us down, is it time for the Enquirer to step up and take the MSM by storm?

What will the video show?

True or not true?

Can a not so worthy news organization gain credibility with breaking stories that are actually factual?

Can the Enquirer change it's face and actually win a Pulitzer next round?

Stay tuned!

I don't know, but I certainly hope so.

I'm just itching for an impeachment, and then having good ole, "I'm a retarded idiot" Joe Biden lead this monkey circus.

Really though, I hope Obama's personal life is shattered in this scandal, unfortunately I think he might be a robot, or just a brainwashed manchurian candidate and well, he probably doesn't feel anything.

You "hope"?

What about his family? What about his two daughters, who would have to grow up in a broken home?

You people seriously make me sick. You have a personal vendetta against the man that I can't begin to understand. It simply makes no sense to me how somebody could amass so much vitriolic, unabashed hatred towards someone you've never met or known personally.

If you're not a prime example of partisan brainwashing than I don't know what is...

That being said, this might be true. It also might not. I'm afraid that regardless if the National Enquirer got one story (Edwards) right in the past, their reputation for "journalism" is still far too tarnished to take anything they print seriously without at least some other form of independent verification.

It will be interesting to see how (or if) this develops.

True enough, I guess.

But you gotta admit that repubs. sure have plenty of anti-gay closet cases....

Best,
SN

P.S. Like you said concerning tabloid credibility:

That story's been floating around a few years now, all based on some random frumpy guy who posted a bunch of YouTube videos saying he was Obama's lover like 10 years ago..

That's the problem w/ the people rabid w/ Obama hatred. They throw so much bull crap, that many of the accusations are totally contradictory, and thus the haters lose all credibility w/ the 80% of the population that aren't wingers.

Best,
SN

P.S. He's a rev. wright disciple, no he's a muslim, he's cheating on michelle, no he's gay, he's overly emotional crying at a funeral, no he's an emotionless robot, he's a cunning cia trained infiltrator, no he's a bumbling neophyte, he's ruining the relationship w/ israel, no he's totally owned by israel, and on and on and on....

Because he's a public political figure and once you become a political figure, you pretty much give up all rights to protect yourself from that sort of thing. The fact is, it's better to just ignore that sort of randomness, because it's always going to happen. He's far from the first President or Presidential candidate to have such stories about him.

Before he was President, James Buchanan and his "best friend" Sen. William Rufus King were often referred to as "Buchanan and his wife." A lot of scholars think that they might have actually been lovers and that it was the worst kept secret in Washington at the time, but nobody's really sure.

It's no different than any other slander or libel that gets printed about every other major political figure out there.

Yeah, it's all there, right on the internet, proof that any idiot can attract website traffic and revenue by claiming the most asinine of things to the gullible.

Isn't he the same fraud that kept promising he was going to release the 'kill whitey' tape slandering Michelle?

You guys are so desperate!

Best,
SN

I agree, it will be interesting to watch. The Enquirer is known as gossip headquarters, and a lot of celebrity news they have is true.

They offended the MSM with the John Edwards story, because they were loathe to follow the story once it came to light there was truth behind it.

It was not until months later that the MSM was willing to step within a mile of the story, and once they did, flat out refused to give any credit to the Enquirer.

I agree they have a tarnished reputation, but it also didn't stop them from pursuing that Pulitzer. I am curious to see if this pans out to be true, will the Enquirer be seen as any different in the publics eyes?

I am more curious about it from a media standpoint, as the media has been unwilling to follow the Enquirer's lead, and it has bitten them more than once.

I am also waiting to see if TMZ picks up on this or not. They seem to have a lot of credibility when it comes to celebrity type stories.

Oh dear lord, has it really come to this?

Sourcing The National Enquirer?

And trying to give them journalistic legitimacy because they guessed one right?

You know how many copies they sold to gullible idiots when they were running false weekly stories on GW and Condoleezza supposedly doing the nasty?

How much lower can the ATS political forums go?

Embarrassing.

While I will admit National Enquirer is not a great place to get a story, they have been pretty spot on with the affairs aspect of some people lately. If it comes out that he did have an affair with this women I will be very disappointed but not entirely surprised. It is almost normal for politicians to have affairs which is sad but a reality.

Wait, whats that I smell?? The rabid drooling foam of the republican party catching the sweet smell of scandal for Obama. Ken Starr is probably slipping into his big girl panties as we speak.
