Hardly news if you live in a border state...
we have three dead down in Las Cruces southern NM earlier in the week two more ranchers we killed in Columbus NM... that's just this week and just in my state... it's only news now to the rest of the country because AZ is in the spotlight but like I've been saying along, we who live down here have been struggling with this for decades
'
S&F anyway the more who know about our problems might just get us the help we need to fix em???

My prayers are with the officer and his family. Such a sad reality and I fear this wont be the end of it.

They are still looking for the officer. He had radioed in to say he was shot. I hope they find him alive.

CASA GRANDE, Ariz. -- Authorities in Pinal County are searching for a deputy who radioed for help and said he had been shot in a remote desert area about 50 miles south of Phoenix.

Pinal County Sheriff's Lt. Tammy Villar says the deputy radioed in to say that he had encountered a group in the desert and had been shot with an AK-47 assault rifle in the abdomen.

Villar says law enforcement officers from across the area were trying to find the deputy, who apparently was in the desert somewhere near Interstate 8 and Arizona 84 south of the town of Casa Grande.

The area is used by both drug- and human-smugglers who bring their wares through the remote desert from Mexico north to Phoenix. The circumstances that led up to the shooting are unclear.

Just saw you post this, that is good that they found. I hope the injuries are treatable. This wave of violence needs to be stopped.

They will never catch those criminals that did this. The people protecting and marching for the rights of Illegals need to start to wake up.

Either way this has been a problem for a long time and it's kind of bull# that only now it's getting media attention.

I mean a while ago in Campo, California a border patrol agent was shot multiple times and killed.
www.freerepublic.com...

For whatever reason the news media did not report how he was actually killed.

My father told me that he was not allowed to tell me how the agent was killed.

Because my father said that, I knew something was up and did additional research.

The murderers were a group who faked fleeing from the Border Patrol agents like a standard group of illegals, he pursued and sent a radio message saying he was going to capture and detain them. Fifteen minutes later he was shot to death.

They actually set him up in a planned ambush, this was omitted from almost ALL sources of news, which just said he was shot to death.

source

The agent was lured out of his vehicle by Castro-Alvarez and unidentified co-conspirators and, during the ensuing struggle, the 30-year-old agent was shot eight times in the head, neck and upper body, according to prosecutors.

Why wasn't this as big a deal as this police officer being shot? Why does this only matter now?

Shouldn't the fact that a planned ambush was carried out against federal law enforcement have been a bigger deal?

Of course it mattered then and it matters now. The Feds never gave the # about these honest men losing lives, to them it was all about building their base no matter what administration came to power. Its up to the states to take this fight on, the Feds can watch and see how things get done.

Yes, I hope that this at least gets heavy attention and brings about real concern about the safety of law enforcement.

have u noticed
after a post like this
you don't see one single
poster on this thread
saying anything about
immigration reform is
illegal and unconstitutional?

My heart goes out to the officer.

And I guess we have us an Alien War
with or without federal approval.

The shot heard around the border !!!

"Frankly this is just a very horrible story, but we should not generalize," Alfonso Aguilar, former chief of the U.S. Citizenship Office, told CNN's Rick Sanchez when news of Friday's shooting broke. "We should focus on the criminality of the drug traffickers ... not scapegoat undocumented immigrants who do not pose any threat to society."

Calling an illegal alien an "undocumented immigrant" like calling a drug dealer an Unlicensed Pharmacist.

Maybe the problem is the former chief of the U.S. Citizenship Office is on the wrong side.

We know that the the USA is doing what it can to keep illegals crossing the border, but what about the Mexican authorities, are they doing something to keep Mexican citizens to cross the border illegally?

The why was probably for the $250,000.00 bounty for dead border patrol agents, sounds like these guys just cashed in on a quarter of a million bucks, not bad for a few minutes work... the agents have had a warning for about a month now not to approach groups or the physical border alone, for just this reason

Surprises the hell out of me how little the rest of the world is only now waking up to our problems
