Nice critical analysis.
I can see how you have just debunked Jarrah.

Jarrah claims to be working on a BSc in astrophysics. Where? He claims he was always interested in science, yet he characterizes NASA websites as "trying to convince people that they landed on the Moon." (This quotation is from memory, so don't jump down my throat.) These websites aren't trying to convince anyone of anything. They just provide documentation as required by law. The fact that Jarrah seems to think that they are intended to persuade rather than inform belies his claim to impartial interest.

The biggest whopper occurs during the scant amount of time he spends on his biographical details. (Note how when the interviewer asks Jarrah to tell the listeners something about himself, he mostly talks about "NASA Propagannists!) He says that he compiled his research into a paper as thick as a phone book. It was too large to publish on the web, so he decided to present it in a series of videos. Really? Wasn't the original Moonfaker done as a class assignment for an art class? At least that's the testimony of his own "expert," the teacher. Of course, anyone who embarks on writing a revisionist history of the 20th century would have no qualms about revising their own personal history.

I would like to see Jarrah publish this telephone book thick opus on-line. It would require far less computer memory than his endless series of videos, and allow the readers a chance to engage the material less passively. Why hasn't he done so? Two possible explanations spring to mind. 1. This magnum opus never existed, he just made that part up to sound impressive. 2. He does not want people to be able to engage the material in a critical fashion. What do you think, FoosM? I might not be able to find videos of the press conferences, but surely you must be able to get Jarrah to post his telephone book thick work on-line. For free. After all, he needs to get the word out.

What about the pixel width of the "Astronaut Footpath" ?

It looks like they were skiing in stead of walking or jumping.

Yes, JW actually made some vidz looking into that issue:

The Eagle Has Landed

“The secret mysteries of the People,” foretold the Hopis a thousand years ago, “shall be made known when the sons of white men wear beads and long hair. The truth of the Sacred Ways shall be revealed when the Eagle lands on the moon."

This film provides an "eye-witness" perspective of the Apollo 11 mission

"Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the Lord."—Obadiah 4

The Eagle Has Landed is a 1976 war film of a novel by Jack Higgins

The book makes use of the false document technique,

A false document is a literary technique employed to create verisimilitude in a work of fiction.

Verisimilitude (or truthlikeness) is the quality of realism in something (such as film, literature, the arts, etc).

By inventing and inserting documents that appear to be factual, an author tries to create a sense of authenticity beyond the normal and expected suspension of disbelief for a work of art. The goal of a false document is to fool an audience into thinking that what is being presented is actually a fact.

In practice, false document effects can be achieved in many ways, including use of faked police reports, newspaper articles, bibliographical references, documentary footage or using the legal names of performers or writers in a fictional context. The effect can be extended outside of the confines of a text by supplementary material such as badges, I.D. cards, diaries, letters or other artifacts.

By intentionally blurring boundaries between fiction and fact, false documents present complex and perhaps insoluble ethical questions. In some cases, the difference between a great artistic achievement and a stunning forgery is slim. Sometimes the false document technique can be the subject of a work instead of its technique, though these two approaches are not mutually exclusive as many texts which engage falseness do so both on the literal and the thematic level.

A false document is usually created simply as an artistic exercise, but occasionally is promoted in conjunction with a criminal enterprise like fraud, forgery, or a confidence game. A false document should not be confused with a mockumentary, an admittedly fictional film presented in the manner of a documentary.

and opens with Higgins describing his discovery of the grave of thirteen German paratroopers in an English graveyard. What follows was inspired by the real life rescue of Hitler's ally Benito Mussolini by Otto Skorzeny, a similar idea is considered by Hitler, with the strong support of Himmler. Admiral Wilhelm Canaris, head of the Abwehr (German military intelligence), is ordered to make a feasibility study of the seemingly impossible task of capturing British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and bringing him to the Reich.

The Eagle Has Landed

- Hey bootleggers!
So, this is a new song and we don't really feel like ..
actually going through the trouble of putting it out ourselves, so ...
- This song is called "The Eagle has Landed" !
Yeah, and its for all of you bootleggers to go ahead and go !

Try to find something fast, in my eyes
Oh no, that's ok, phone home
Everthing tastes the same, in my eyes
Every day, every taste, in my eyes

Hey! [x3]

Every time it's in his chin, in my eyes
Everything Tennesees, phone home
Bring it down, at the town, in my eyes
Bring it in, set it's in, in my eyes

Hey! [x3]

Try it's sound, something found, it ain't us
Round down, at the town, go home
Round down, something in, mean us
Every taste, something fake, gross

Hey! [x3]

Take ...
Mean heart ...
Mean hearts ...[x3]

Down down such a fast, in my eyes
Won't ever let you down, flown home
Granted to your sense of sound, oh my eyes
You and me it contains, my heart

Hey! [x3]

Go dark sound check, my eyes
Everything teddy sees, is all wrong

Burnin' down half the town, and my house
Entertaining suicide, well my heart

Hey! [x3]

Jonestown such a frown, see yours
Riddle meal left the town, or go home
Rarin' round such a day, for me uh ..
Hitch a train to Santa Fe, or go horse

Hey! [x3]

Take ...
Mean horse ...
Mean horse ...[x3]

ya know, i always suspected that you couldn't see stars from the moon and the pics prove it!!!!!!!
i always knew that when you land you don't make a crater, and the pictures prove it!!!!!
i always knew that the aluminum foil that they used on the feet of the landing gear would repel dust and the pictures prove it!!!!!!!

This part you can prove to yourself very easily. Just incase you want to try it for yourself here's a simple guide:

1) Wait till there is a bright sunny day without clouds.
2) Go out with any camera that has good manual controls. Find the correct exposure by adjusting the time, ISO and aperture. For time 250 is good because apollo cameras were locked at that.
3) Remember the correct exposure for your shots.
4) Wait till it's night time without clouds.
5) Go out and try the same settings you remember for daytime. Observe. Underexposed pictures. No stars.
6) Now you can start playing with the exposure again. Play with the exposure till you get exposure that shows stars. Remember the settings.
7) Now you can reverse the experiment. Wait till it's a bright day again. Go out and try shooting with the settings that shows stars.

There's 0 point in arguing about this stuff online when you can so easily test it for yourself.

what does nirvana have to do with this, why did you quoted the lyrics to a song Nirvana Played at the reading 92 festival??

That mention to bootleggers is about "tapers", people who record live shows like myself.

That was actually sad!! He goes on about how the radiation belts would kill the astronauts instantly and then the interviewer asks about how the spacecraft and the astronauts were protected against that. from this point on its sad to see jarrah's strugle to even remeber the names of the materials on the craft and suits.

I can see how you have just debunked Jarrah.

I was not debunking anything just making a critique. I think that particular claim as already been debunked. over and over again. Like every other claim you guys do.

During Apollo 11, the Bochum Observatory in West Germany 'listened in' on the first lunar landing.

How does this prove anything?

ahah nothing can be proven to you Foosm not even if you actually went to the moon. It just proves that signals were being transmitted from the moon and someone else ( rather than NASA or US government) recorded it for posterity.

so...what's your point??i still dont get it.

Is Nirvana secretly telling us that the moon landings were a hoax, and they decided to make a song about it??
edit on 29-9-2011 by hateeternal because: (no reason given)

That mention to "bootlegers" is because that was a new song Nirvana never played before, and Dave Ghrol was just saying to the bootlegers in the audience to "go ahead ang go" meaning it was going to be a higher value bootleg because it contained the song " The eagle has landed" which was never played before.and like he also said: " we are not going to the trouble of putting it out ourselves" so...it was being released to the public as a bootleg= Counterfeit

1. This magnum opus never existed, he just made that part up to sound impressive.

very likely

2. He does not want people to be able to engage the material in a critical fashion.

That one we already know its true beacuse if it wasn't he would be here discussing his claims. and we all know he does not allow comments on his videos, or at least he deletes the ones that show some kind of critical discussion.

If you have answered it befor then it should be no difficulty repeating that for those of use with poor memories, or who do not want to wade through almsot 600 pages...why not just do so???

And I don't think it is OT at all - whether or not you are JW seems very much relevant to the topic..

I'm a skeptic of the skeptics. The video he is showing is not video from the 60's but more recent. Really go look at true video footage from the 60's...their film quality was terrible. I think these guys are actually working for the establishment. So its minions of the Illuminati debating minions of the Illuminati. Why would they do that you may ask? Because they always control both sides of the issue, cause confusion, while leading you the way they want you to go. So they want us to think we never went to the moon. Why? Because they have a planned deception in the works. It is going to involve an alien invasion with bluebeam. If they can make you think they do not have the technology and then the aliens come and show you mind blowing technology....well you get it....they lead you where they want you to go. Where is that? To their New World Order. What would be the reason for them to say we went to the moon and did not? Explain the digital video from the 60's.

If aliens arrive and show me mind-blowing technology it will do little more for me than confirm that sci-fi writers are better prophets of the future than any of previous ones.
