Making money, on the other hand, is to be taken very seriously, and controversy is its own coinage. "We're an entertainment company," Beck says. He has managed to monetize virtually everything that comes out of his mouth. He gets $13 million a year from print (books plus the ten-issue-a-year magazine Fusion). Radio brings in $10 million. Digital (including a newsletter, the ad-supported Glennbeck.com and merchandise) pulls in $4 million. Speaking and events are good for $3 million and television for $2 million. Over several days in mid-March Beck allowed a reporter to follow him through his multimedia incarnations, with one exception, his 5 p.m. daily show on Fox News, which attracts just under 3 million viewers. (FORBES has a relationship with that channel via Forbes on Fox.)

I thought this was amazing that he would state this. He seems to strongly care about the political process on both his radio show and his television show.

It's good to see he's raking in the millions as well. You guys can buy all his BS all you want, as I did, but he's making a fortune off of you....and your fear...and/or hate.

Hey, it's the first time I've seen Glenn Beck be so honest in ... ever. He doesn't care about politics, he's selling a product. All his talk about the political scene and politicians is just a script designed and packaged for sale.

He's doing a damn fine job of it too. He even has his own movement which will lop up any literature he tells them to buy...including his own books. For someone who keeps saying our money will soon be worthless.....he seem HIGHLY contradictory.

BUt you already know what I think of him...no need to go further.

Beck could get on live TV, tell his followers he's batcrap crazy, then say he lies pathologicaly and he's a complete fake, AND; it would make zero difference to his followers!

He is told what to say and how to say it. Divide and Conquer!

Unfortunately, his hardcore listening audience has the mental capacity of a 10 year old. Damn shame, because from the peripheral he's seems like the guy that's looking out for the little people.

I am a Glenn Beck fan and I am glad to see him making a good living from his hard work. He deserves it. I don't see anything wrong with what he has done or what he is doing.

It would please me enormously if people would ban him and his little hyped up hysterical show. Let him return to the underside of the rock from whence he came.

Turn all his money over to Goldman Sachs for investment purposes.

Glenn Beck and his team have done remarkable research into the background of not only Obama, but Acorn, SEIU, Apollo and others..He has uncovered facts that we won't ever hear or see on the nightly news. If he did earn that much money.."Earned" should be highlighted..He EARNED it.. Well I don't give a flying crap about Glen Beck. I don't listen to his shows and I don't buy his crap. Too bad so many dupes do and lap up his crap like dogs to vomit. Only reason I even respond is because I run into people all the time who march to his beat and think they are patriots because they parrot his crap.

I will give credit where credit is due he is one of the best at peddling his crap to the weak minded and says a lot of the right things at times, just enough to keep the suckers on the hook providing him with such a lavish life style while actually accomplishing nothing and keeping millions distracted so they accomplish nothing also.

He had a great show today 4-27, I agreee with him on these points:

1. Illegal (immigrant) is illegal.
2. GM has a great shell game hoing on with the Gov, & our money.
3. The Gov. is robbing us blind.

and Beck did have an informative show today..he showed the facts once again.. Its a shame that some here WONT do the research themselves..but then again..some are paid to come and post on forums, in hopes that the truth dosent come out. Are you saying you do all this research yourself? Cut the BS. The only research you get is the junk GB tells you. I listen to him each day at work...I no longer watch his television show however...kinda pointless to do it.

Missy...if Glen Beck had any real concern, he would be pushing for an increase in tariffs and enforcement of anti-trust laws.

He does NEITHER...not to mention the fact he is so ridiculously partisan it's a joke.

THe only Republicans he calls out by name are McCain and Graham...while Republicans leaders are having meetings with bank Lobbyists as we speak. He spends much time talking about how great MLK was...yet MLK believed in Economic Justice and GUARANTEED INCOME.

I remember not to long ago that you would post atleast 2 GB clips. You was in love with the guy. The ATS tempature toward GB took a nose dive and you went along with it. I'm sure you will say something along the lines of "I saw the light" or some other BS. The fact is that you are found that you wasn't part of the cool crowd and you decided to improve your profile popularity.

Its a shame you can be jerked back and forth so easily.

My opinion is that Beck can do whatever he can to make money. I don't care if he said the sky is red and millions of people believed him. He has a talent and he is using it.

No I do not, nor have I ever watched his show. Those clips you posted a while ago was enough to know that I wouldn't enjoy it.
