Maybe if they look hard enough on the wooden planks they might find "Noah Was Here" carved into them. That would help solve who built it.
I would imagine if the ark existed it would have disintegrated by now, wouldn't it?
A Russian hunter traipsing through Russia's remote Arctic Yamalo-Nenetsk region in May noticed what he thought was a reindeer carcass sticking out of the damp snow. (See a map of Russia and its remote Siberian regions.)
On closer inspection, the "reindeer" turned out to be a 40,000-year-old baby mammoth, perfectly encased in ice.

So far from what I've read everyone is debunking everything else related to religion. Even if this discovery was shown to be the actual ark, people would still not believe that the Bible is an accurate record of history. For years many have debunked the possibility of a flood so recent and the existence of an ark. If this is it (and it seems it is?) it will make very little difference to those who don't want to believe it because believing it means the Bible is true and if it's true it means we are accountable to God as it says. And if we don't 'want' to be accountable then we find other things to critisize or debunk to make us feel better in our unbelief - like evolution (which actually requires more faith than one believing in God).
Apart from that, to find a 4000-6000 year old wooden structure still intact is amazing. You wonder what else lies under the ice caps and mountain tops yet to be revealed as we go through a short natural warming period.
Did you know that stomach acid still breaks down food, even after a creature dies? This presents a problem for those who believe the Ice age was a gradual freezing, because if it was, the stomach contents of the mammoths would be gone. However, they are not because butter cups have been found undigested inside the stomach of the mammoths. The mammoth had to have been frozen so quickly that the stomach acid did not have time to digest its food. Found standing straight up? What has puzzled scientists the most is the fact that some of the mammoths are frozen standing straight up. Unable to walk any further, as the snow got deeper, they got trapped, and eventually suffocated. This is also why the bodies are intact and not beaten up.
To make a long story short: this is all reported to be a fake. The photos were reputed to have been taken off site near the Black Sea, but the film footage the Chinese now have was shot on location on Mt. Ararat. In the late summer of 2008 ten Kurdish workers hired by Parasut, the guide used by the Chinese, are said to have planted large wood beams taken from an old structure in the Black Sea area (where the photos were originally taken) at the Mt. Ararat site.
However, last fall a new tip peaked both his and Price’s interest. A Kurdish shepherd told them that he had seen the ark, and even climbed on top of it, when he was a boy. The team hypothesizes that the ark is preserved in several pieces beneath a glacier on the mountain, and every so often the glacier recedes, exposing part of the vessel.
“That’s when he saw it as a boy,” Price said, adding that they had interviewed the shepherd and could find no reason to distrust him. The shepherd asked for nothing in return and even agreed to lead Bright to the site where he said he had seen the ark.
Bright first climbed to the site in September. Then a team including Price, the shepherd, a mountaineer and several others made a follow-up ascent to 15,000 feet later the same month.
They found the spot, Price said, but it now is covered by an estimated 60-foot-deep pile of boulders. Price believes the landslide may have resulted from attacks against Kurdish rebels on the mountain, or perhaps from explosives that were set off to cover up the ark.

Lol... Why are they claiming to have found a story book characters boat?? Don't they know it's not real?
Tsk. Tsk. Tsk.
When will people ever learn?

You know this for sure? You are 100% certain that there's no such thing so archeologists, researchers and adventurers should just give up, walk away, and notch it up to fairy tales?
