2 sides to Every Story? - George Galloway - Hero or Villain?

George Galloway was on the scene when I was still living in Scotland back in the 1990's and early 2000's.

I remember that every single person I met, completely hated this man. He was branded a 'Trator".

Why?

Well articles like this one in "the Sun " newspaper made sure the people would quite quickly hate the man -

George Galloway banned from Canada.

Anti-war MP George Galloway has been banned from Canada, it emerged today. A Canadian spokesman confirmed that the Respect MP had been deemed inadmissible on national security grounds and would not be allowed into the country.

Earlier today the Sun said border security officials had declared Galloway, 54, "inadmissible" because of his views on Afghanistan and the presence of Canadian troops there and would be turned away if he attempted to enter the country

There are hundreds of these stories on Google, just search and you can read for hours about all the terrible, nasty things this guy has done and said against the UK, the US and all their troops etc etc.....

So is Galloway simply a Dishonest, Home Grown Terrorist and Trator

OR

Has he been targeted by MSM for his Deeply truthful opinions about the War in Afghanistan and Iraq and the policies of George W Bush and Tony Blair, not to mention his stance on Israel/Palestine.

Personally I think the guy is a legend! I've spent hours watching him, and he rarely says something I don't agree with.

I also think he is a conspiracy theorist one way or another. He knows what's going on, he just cant say it all.

I have to admit that I don't like him or his style..
There is simply something about him that makes my skin crawl..

Galloway is on of my hero's, I listened to his talksport radio show every friday and saturday for 5 years. I've never learnt so much from listening to one individual before. I don't agree with his stand points on drugs or religion, but, almost everything else I am on board with George.

He is obviously villified by the Murdoch owned press and right wing media, as he is one of the main supporters of the Palestinians cause against Zionism.

G Galloway, Truly a hero in british politics, He must make TPTB blood boil when hes on a mission, Shows up all the gutter snipers, heck this man can stand up in an Americas congress and justify himself and still walk with his head high, Top notch MP, Probably why the MSM go tooth and nail for him.
The last of the "Old school" Labour MPs IMO....

Galloway's media appearances are always a pleasure to watch. It's a damn shame they won't have him on MSM so much these days because he always schools the interviewer on issues they know they are distorting.

If there's ever been a political scapegoat it's George. Goes to show what happens when you go against the grain in Westminster.

The Respect party have some common sense policies which I agree with too such as the EU decency wage increase to min £7.40 per hour, currently at £5.80 per hour. Their support for the PLO is commendable and the whole issue with Saddam wasn't making him out to be a savior at all - he harbored 0 WMD's and that's why we all should be against the war. Don't get me wrong neither I, nor would I think George Galloway could condone or deny the genocide of the Kurdish people. But George took the brunt of the British blame for taking the ambassador route instead of the 'shock & awe' route.

Mr Galloway is a credit and I'd love to see more politicians like him step up to the plate. Sadly only the 'top 3' get a mention, who as you all know are merely different heads of the same dragon. I would urge all of us to vote ANYONE except the top 3. I'd love to see a hung parliament with an independent majority.

Is George standing for Respect on the 6th?

I understand you entirely !!! Theres something horriffic about the TRUTH especially when ya fed bollocks via mainstream media , George is a champion of peace , Thats right WORLD PEACE comes about when the district of columbia stops issueing orders of WAR against Third World Countrys ..

Sorry, your reponse almost reads as tho I am against world peace simply for the fact that George Galloway makes my skin crawl..

I was/am being honest.. the guy makes my skin crawl so I find it hard to like him.. Just becuase I dislike him does not make my position one of war monger..

Well I looked around a bit and what is up with this so called evidence?

We won't know, for sure but it seems he has been "handled" for what he says.

I can't say I like or dislike him but I agree with most of what he said,

Don't agree with everything George says but he holds true to his beliefs, is well informed and does not bow to the media through pressure. I think he's great all in all, but there are quite a few things i vehemently disagree with him about.

I have never heard any of his views on anything apart from the War, and in that light, I agree with everything the man says.

I can't believe how much he destroys that News anchor Lady in the first youtube clip.

He certainly knows his stuff!
