Israelis shoot Maltese photographer as she films Gaza demonstration

Bianca Zammit, shot in her outer thigh (leg) by armed Israeli soldiers as she filmed, unarmed, at a Palestinian demonstration against the Israeli-imposed "buffer zone". Bianca, about 3 metres to my left, was standing stationary, filming the IOF soldiers shooting on unarmed Palestinians between us and the border fence. As she was stationary, it is very unlikely that Bianca's shooting was an accident.

This is a different article and includes photos of her wound while she was in the hospital and some other people who were shot at the same demonstration.

She vows to go on reporting the news. She wasn't the only one shot either. Palestinians were also shot. It almost sounds most everyone at this peaceful protest were used as target practice by Israeli forces.

Good shot, nailed both of them with only flesh wounds in the thigh. NOT an easy shot.

Now imagine that was your Daughter/Wife/Mum or Sister attending a PEACEFUL protest and had that happen to her..........Wouldn't be so funny then would it ?

Sorry but if my mum was attending ANY protest in the war torn middle east she is asking to get shot. Stay at home and make more mazza balls mum.

So we should all stand by silently and watch the atrocities that happen there continue........Nah.

Its all good though, the World is watching now, and the condemnation is growing.

I am waiting for more sources, the photo of the bullet wound could also be from the guy on that hospital table.

Journalist Killed By Taliban in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (CNN) -- Attackers in a Taliban-controlled area of Pakistan shot and tried to behead a Pakistani journalist on Wednesday, according to his employer GEO TV.

The slain correspondent, Mosa Khankhel, had been covering the recent peace deal between the Pakistani government and Taliban militants in Swat Valley when he was killed, GEO TV managing director Azhar Abbas said.
