My friend, I cannot claim that every claim made in this thread are facts. What I do know is that we are on the verge of a One World Government, an Empire, regardless where it sits. Have we not seen enough evidence of this march towards globalization all over this forum?

Why pick at the details, which have been obfuscating so many ways that by the time we get a clear picture, it will be too late?

Who will be mocking who then?

Can we not simply agree that it is coming, it is right around the corner, it is not something to grant us more freedom, and its something we want to stand against?

To each his own on the details. The whole picture is beyond us. We have enough to go on and it is coming soon. Unity or Division, which is the strength of Men?

Nope, I don't believe a One World Gov'mint is coming. I think we can agree that certain people in certain positions are making certain plans, but there are other people in equally powerful positions making equally ambitious plans. All out war would be required to achieve that aim, I think if you told one big bear that if he fought with the other big bear that they would both die, both bears would just decide to step back and let each other be.

So no, I don't think we can agree, brother, and the details are important, contrary to what you claim.

oh let's start with the fact, the text of revelation 9 says Apollo is the name of the King of the Bottomless pit.

i mean there's stuff in the bible and the other ancient texts that no one ever hears about or bothers to find out about, before they are already claiming they know all there is to know about it. Bet not too many people realize that Apollyon in Revelation 9:11 (yeah 9 11) is Apollo. Now what's that mean, pray tell ? Isn't that a Grecian-Roman pagan god ? What's he doing as leader of an abyss gate?

There's so much more to ancient history that we have barely touched on before we're being diverted to the idea that we should pitch it all out, just as we're beginning to put it all together in the first place. I resist any idea that suggests I shouldn't use the brain god gave me, the eyes he gave me and the ability to learn from the ancient past and from the texts in which these subjects are written. these old texts are the heritage of every human on the planet.

Ok, so you don't believe it. Interesting seeing as we are already functioning as a One World Government under the UN, but that's neither here nor there. That means you come on this thread to debate then?

see proto wants us to believe the biblical prophetical texts, particularly the new testament ones, are written by rome with the express purpose of convincing us to sit on our hands while they kill all their own flocks, that they specifically created with falsified texts (bible, koran, torah, chinese canons, and etc). my question was, if this is the case, and this new world order (which is supposedly going to be lead by a political figure that comes out of the abyss gate), how does he explain revelation 9? why would rome write revelation 9? it's an intimate part of the unfolding scenario of the new world order. he wants to pretend its not there in the text because he either a) doesn't know what it means or b) doesn't care what it means, in which case i gotta ask, how he thinks it's okay to use biblical prophecy as an example and then ignore the majority of it in his theory.

The role of the UN as a governing body is highly debatable. It is a global body (for the most part), but it is not the head of any global government. There are still competing powers and the role of the UN is pretty much limited to what it is doing now; acting as middleman, acting as 'peacekeeper' and drafting useless and neglected legislation.

My opinion anyway.

Well I think we have made some real progress today! No one has been able to prove the existence of God, and none of you can still agree on anything other than your personal distaste for me.

We have though learned that it might not be as bad as it appears because the detail oriented serbsta has shared, that some people are trying to install a one world government but some people are trying to stop them.

This is the kind of quality detail oriented reporting that I think we can all place stock in since it comes from no source at all.

if bible prophecy is the playbook rome is using to bring about the end of the world, you better get busy studying it. otherwise, you will be totally unprepared for their next moves (if indeed the "strange" stuff in revelation hasn't already come and gone)

I don't know what it means. I am not an expert on Revelation. However, I do know that the Bible is a compilation of the teachings of Christ, Judaism, and Pagan traditions codified to an all encompassing religion destined to grant Rome its divine authority. Having that belief, I restrict my studies to the words of Jesus Christ. It is important to note that his words contradict many of the Catholic traditions which form many of the legends of Christ in other denominations today. Therefore, I restrict myself to the words which directly fit Christs character, as a pacifist who stood up to the Judaic Priesthood and even the Roman Empire with passive resistance.

The rest of the Bible is written in language and code designed to keep any man of intellect studying it for a life time without unravelling its mystery fully. It has allusions of Hermeticism, Alchemy, Chaldean Numerology, the Qaballah, and yes, even Roman Pantheistic deities masked as Christian Saints or Prophets. I am no expert in this field however, and certainly no one worthy of debate on the subject. By my view, it is a book with the more devilish designs of hiding Christs teachings in a bunch of inapplicable bunk, which was hardly done by accident, and could only leave one to deduce a more nefarious purpose.

Given the early history of the Catholic Church, nay even up to modern day, I believe their actions confirm my suspicions.

i agree, christ's teachings appear to be the most legit of all. i'm hesitant to write off the prophecies, however. although i'm not terribly fond of the translations of it.
