Mr. Poptop.....

I've tidied up the formatting in our Q&A post & if it's OK, I have some more questions.

Q: Did any of your friends see the object?

A: Yes.

Have you & your friends reported this sighting to a group such as MUFON?

Can any of your friends join our thread & verify your sighting & discuss this?

Q: In what direction were you facing?

A: East.

So in which direction do you believe the object travelling?

Q: How long did the object take to transit your field of view?

A: Not sure. It was there and I tried to mess with the stupid camera settings to get better pics. Then it was gone.

Can you "guesstimate" the time taken?

Q: How did the object leave your field of view?

A: I missed it disappearing becaues I was busy messing with the settings. It was bright outside, and I could barely see the LCD display on the camera.

Did you lose sight of it behind trees or a building, etc... or did it just take off into the sky?

Q: What was the apparent shape of the object?

A: It was round, and revolving slowly.

Do you mean round like a sphere or round like a cylinder?

What is it about the sighting that makes you conclude it wasn't a balloon?

How have you excluded that possibility?

Q: Have you seen anything like this previously?

A: No, hell no.

Q: Have your heard of any previous sightings in your area?

A: There was a meteor a while ago.

Have you searched on line with any sites sich as MUFON to ascertain if there have been other sightings?

Q: Was it windy?

A: Yes. Wind was blowing northeast 10 to 15 at ground level.

That is consistent with the direction of the object.

I note the wind velocity & direction could have been different at a greater height.

Q: Do you live in a busy area?

A: Yes. Lots of apartments.

I wonder if there were any other witnesses.....have you asked around?

Q: Are there any airports nearby?

A: There's one within five miles northwest of here.

You may be able to access met data for wind direction & velocity by height.

I wish I could view higher resolution photos of the object.

Kind regards

Ahmose.....

I thought there was a "hexagonal" element to it.

Can you post the exif data?

Can you post any enlargements of the object?

Kind regards

Ahmose.....

In addition to any info that indicates the photos have been manipulated or processed.....

I will be very interested to know the time interval between the photos & if the photos are in sequence.

Kind regards

I didn't had any problem downloading the images.

Mr. Poptop, could you please upload the images as they came out of the camera? Unless you have a camera that names the files as UFO1 and UFO2.

Thanks in advance.

It looks like someone's throwing a ball into the air and taking pictures of it.....

Looks like two different structures to me. First is an older type barn-thing, the second looks much more modern. Also, it does seem as if these pictures are focused specifically on the structures. The first, just the roof of the barn-like one, and the second, it looks like someone was trying to get a shot of the two satellite dishes.

Was this taken in two locations? Or is that the same house?

You wrote that you took two pictures in rapid succession but I've looked at the data of the two pictures I am no expert but Adobe Bridge shows that there are four hours between the two images

I'm normally not the most skeptical person, but i think it's fake, the object is more pixelated than the other darker area of the photo, also if anyone has half decent image software, save the photo and look for yourself, play around with it.

Look's fishy to me

Excellent catch. After reading your post I realized something I can't believe I missed. For two quick shots that are supposed to be in succession -- a large amount of clouds either "appeared" or "disappered" faster than nature would allow.
I was skeptical enough from the outset, especially after OP had removed one picture of a cigar shaped object in the sky and replaced it with a round one.

Palming my face repeatedly now.

Makes you wonder if they read the T&C because purposefully trying to hoax the members of ATS is a banable offense.

I don't like having skepticism being labeled as rudeness either.

It is not rude to question the validity of something. It is not rude to warn someone that their actions if insincere could be punishable. I did not see anyone attack the OP even after it became obvious he was deliberately trying to pull the veil over their eyes.

I know you meant it can happen, but making statements like that is just insulting to the skeptical members of ATS who are seeking the truth and puts the op in a mindset that opposing views or skeptical questions should be deemed as rude.

Please don't call rudeness in a thread where none currently exists it just confuses those who have already posted and makes the situation that much more sensitive. Because then people are spending most of their time trying to find the right words for their questions to avoid being fingered as rude simply because they are looking for the truth. Do you get what I am saying?
