Well, with all of the hubbaloo over AZ and immigration, this almost slipped my notice.

Maybe, just maybe, if you're lucky, they will find weapons of mass destruction in YOUR hometown, too!

And the terrorist organization responsible for the WMD found in my hometown of Louisville KY?

Al Quaeda?

Oh, heaven's no.

Tea Partiers?

No, not them.

Illegal Aliens?

They are not planting WMD in my city's park.

A rogue Militia group? Homegrown terrorism?

No, not them either.

Well, who then?

www.fox41.com...

""The subjects intentionally, without lawful authority, placed weapons of mass destruction in Miles Park, which is in the Commonwealth of Kentucky," the reports state. "The subjects were in possession of a destructive device with the intent to use that device to commit an offense against the laws of this state, a political subdivision thereof, or of the United States."

Please visit my link, please look at these children. I know I know. 21, 18, they are legally adults but not much more than children.

years ago, this would not have been worded in such....terminology.

This case disturbs me on so many levels, I find it difficult to put it into words, and hope some of my verbose fellow posters can help me discuss the issues surrounding this case.

I will start with what jumped out.

Weapons of Mass Destruction.

Let me repeat.

Weapons of Mass Destruction.

If I recall, we INVADED ANOTHER COUNTRY over Weapos of Mass Destruction.

I wonder why this bothers me so deeply?

Another.

Here we have three immature looking and acting and possibly mentally deranged overgrown skater boys, and a phrase made famous by Bush Jr, and forever associated with TERRORISM, has now been applied to what bottom lines as a very very dangerous and poorly executed/unthought out adolescent prankery. Very dangerous.

But COUNTRY INVADING seriously dangerous?

Ok, that was the first thing jumping out at me.

Second.

Take a good look yall.

This is the face of terrorism.

I see this, along with the immigration bill, and that speeding train, all rushing towards a possible nwo ending, national ID cards. How?

If we have such American Looking KIDS being associated with WMD, who the hell can we trust, yall? I mean, really, can we really trust our neighbor? Used to be you could tell the bad guys by the color of their skin. Not now, now that we have such normal looking boys next door (be honest, you see this type of looking kid every day and dont look twice at him) planting WEAPONS of Mass Destruction around the town (and next to VALHALLA GOLF COURSE folks, that...well, that is NOT cool). /semi sarcasm.

I said I could not quite put into words how this story was feeling to me. So I invite you to take a read, and share your feelings on it.

Is this type of terminology and the way this case is presented ushering in a heavy agenda, along with who knows what else type of legislation in our near future, an nwo agenda of placing terrorist labels on every criminal act, from littering on up to murder, no grey areas anymore?

Anyway, AOL is running the story, you guessed it, under terrorism. Jesus, look at the surrounding stories, come ON already, seriously? Am I alone in thinking this is very very NWO/agenda driven?

So you feel you too could fit this type of "profiling"?

I think it is a shame, to label the actions of these kids in such harsh words, it is like throwing away the key or something, almost a lifelong label for what for many teens turned out to be a one time bad judgement call prank. (well, the 21 yr old seems psychotic, he was previously involved in a murder plot against a school girl.)

I am not trying to diminish the seriousness of the alleged crime.

Thank you for your thoughts.

Toilet cleaner, plastic bottles, and aluminum foil is equivalent to Nuclear and Chemical weapons now?

I have made far better explosives than this in my garage for taking out stubborn stumps!

We made this type of "explosive" in high school chemistry class, with the teacher instructing us!

Sure, those kids are probably criminals, and booby trapping a park is pretty serious, and with that type of explosive, they could have made someone's ears ring really bad, or blown up a skirt or two!

I used to make these puppies all the time, the soda bottle explodes with a very loud boom.

I stopped making these once I realized how dangerous the toilet bowl cleaner was for people's eyes.

The drain cleaner that is a very basic solution reacts with the tin foil to produce a catalytic reaction with a byproduct of hydrogen and heat.

The danger of these things is not so much shrapnel as it is the chance of the drain cleaner getting into the eyes of bystanders.

A foolish prank this is, a WMD this is not.

Screw the pigs and their phony charges.

I NEVER mixed the works toilet bowl cleaner and aluminum foil and throw it. And I have NEVER blew out the glass on mom and dads storm door with said concoction. Yes they would hurt blowing up near someone.
It could be used as a deversion more than a weapon. A bomb it is not....
It does seem more NWO driven, than an actual threat.
It might have wasted a few tax dollars at the park because of emergency calls for shots fired in the park or someone hearin a "explosion" but WMD makes me chuckle.

I DIDN'T have a off duty police officer show me how to mix this either

It is total nonsense. US society is ill somehow. When I was 14 year old I had secret laboratory at old water tank. I was making pipe bombs, rockets, rocket launchers. My lab was raided by police when I started to experiment with nitrates (thanks God). Before I used gun powder analogs. I was stupid kid but I was not so stupid to place my fireworks at public areas. Also police and prosecutors were not so stupid to call me terrorist.

Thank you for the responses.

I just may send an email to Fox and to our LMPD asking what is up with the terrorist wording in this story. It is way over the top for some reason, and bothers me.
