Since the end of the cold war, the United States has been trying to come up with an operating theory of the world�and a military strategy to accompany it. Now there�s a leading contender. It involves identifying the problem parts of the world and aggressively shrinking them. Since September 11, 2001, the author, a professor of warfare analysis, has been advising the Office of the Secretary of Defense and giving this briefing continually at the Pentagon and in the intelligence community. there are different variations of this floating around. i think it's a good cause but they are going about it the wrong way-peace is important to stability. still, one has to acknowledge the fact that folk are going to fight this...then war is inevitable. in many of the nations that are listed we have played and toyed with their governments until we created this sort of blood-thristy hate within the population. this "cleansing" they are setting out to undertake will be worth it if it works and they stick to the original agenda which is closing the gap and creating self-sustaining democracies. still, the means will make this a even sacrier world for quite sometime--ah, well just my two cents and uppin for those they haven't checked this out.
