Can anyone comment on the three dome shapes in the crater on the moon in this video?

Thank you.

While my law continues to hold true.

Zaiger's law- Anything that says GLP,GFL or amkon on it is a waste of time or has been discussed on ATS before.

While this has not been discussed here before it is a total waste of time. There is not equalateral triangle in that crater. While you can see a small shadow in that poor quality picture it could be a rock or just a part in the middle that is deeper.

Reading your thoughts was a waste of my time and didn't contribute much.

I do see a triangle there because it is there, if it was not there then I would obviously not see it.
I showed the close up to my 5 year old kid and asked him what does this look like to you?
And he said "Hey look at that triangle in there, what is it?"
I guess my 5 year old is smarter and wiser than some adults.

This is very interesting OP thanks for posting

Interesting.

I still think NASA and the gov. aren't telling us everything that we should know. I honestly don't know what is in that crater, it looks like a mound or something inside the crater not zoomed in. When he zooms in the appearance of three domes could be given due to pixilation.

I don't think it is anything. I would think if there was something there it would have already been discovered and exposed by now just for the simple fact that the moon doesn't rotate.

I do vaguely see the triangle in the video. Although the video itself is very blurry and messed with my eyes heh.

But I don't really see anything abnormal, it could be many things due to natural occurances. As stated before it seems like a rock and/or a raise in terrain. Good find though.

I don't normally agree with zaiger, but this time I gotta go with him on this. I don't see anything out of the ordinary. It's a very blurry image. It's in a crater, so well could be from previous impacts, and I can find at least 2 other triangles in that video just in that place on the moon.

Keep a watch on that spot though. If that formation is not there tonight, then I might perk up more. Until then....sorry, nothing to see here.

Well...Im not going to say there is nothing there because I think anyone who looks at the photo can see there is "something" in the center of that crater. That much is clear...but what is that "something"??

Whether or not it's 3 domes I can't say...the picture just isnt clear enough.

It goes without saying that a better picture would make this all that much easier to figure out...but how many times does that statement get thrown around on here everyday?

As crazy as it sounds Im one of those people who believe in possible bases and what not on the moon...but this could be anything.

Anyway, thanks for sharing.

There are thousands of serious astronomers who would "love" to findsomething unusual on the moon, to make a big name for themselves. With a much greater resolution capability, if they looked and saw something quite suspicious, we would have heard of it before now. Threats of violence, etc., are not sufficient to "force" the silence of international astronomers. Recall also that there are many nations that would be quite pleased with themselves if they could, in fact, "show-up" mighty NASA of that evil people of Satan, the United States of America.

My predicted odds of this being a significant finding for mankind: 0.01%.

Many craters have small peaks in the center. It's a quality of how certain craters form.

Here's a photo of one (I don't think it's the same crater as in the video).

The huge crater Tycho on the moon has a central peak that is 1.6 KM in height (about a mile).

Edit: Here's a page that describes how these central peaks in craters can form.

I would like to add that the guy that shot that video was using some pretty spiffy equipment.

Don't complain about the picture quality. This is really as good as it can possibly get. It is blurry yes, but heavily pixelated no.

There is a triangle in that crater. You can plainly see it's shape when you zoom in. Although I think it is probably a natural occurrence you cannot doubt that it is there.

I will not speculate as to what the object really is because I have not enough information to make such a statement. However, I wouldn't discount any possibility even though it is probably just a rock.

That is what is called being Objective.

Guess what if people just do a simple search you find things like this

www-tc.pbs.org...

Lots of craters have a uplifted area that happens when the crater is formed.

It would have been nice if the person gave any information as to what part of the Moon he/she was looking at. It seems a bit dishonest on his/her part to not give those details. Being near the day/night terminator helps to narrow it down a little, but it's still like looking for a needle in a hay stack. I was hoping to find a higher resolution image of that crater.

LifeInDeath and wmd_2008 are right though. There are many, many craters that have some uplift in the center.

Guys... you need to stop seeing things everywhere. By this I mean, of you see a blury formation of 3 dots? How awsome is that?! You can look at any planet and say "Hey look, there is a dot, it's a city!",etc..

C'mon...
