My philosophy/critical thinking/ethics professor showed us this vid in class:

I thought it was interesting.
He also told us a couple of facts:
We in the US spend more on HC than ANY other country yet we are # 37 in HC quality compared with the rest of the world. We are also # 50 on life
expectancy.
In the US we have to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to stay in a hospital for a week. Japan would pay 90$ a night, for a private room. Even less
about 30 dollars a night for a room with 4 other patients. In the US you have to pay up to 500 dollars to pay to get a 3-5 inch wound treated. They
have to pay 4 dollars for the same if not Better treatment.
It's not all socialized medicine either.
Crazy. Just crazy. yea they pay taxes and all, but in the end it more than well makes up for it in most cases.
