My Belated Introduction

Hey ATS, I'm a Southern Californian, born in Arizona though and most of my family is in the Dakota's so I'm not as much of a city slicker as you'd think.

I'm posting this as an introduction and to say I really enjoy this website and the community here. I already feel really encouraged to participate and I even got a reward from the moderation team for one of my topics, which was really really cool and made me really feel like a valued contributor (thanks for that!).

I've never seen something I thought to be extra-terrestrial but I have seen some unidentified (to me at least) flying projectiles in New Mexico. These were not craft though. Still, I am very open to the idea that there is intelligent life out there, and even here on Earth. I don't believe that technology is necessarily proportionate to intelligence, I believe that Sperm Whales are pretty intelligent, for example.

I am not a full blown conspiracy theorist but at the same time, I love to look into and entertain conspiracies! I always give them as fair of a chance as I can, I try to be pragmatic, but I do need more than hearsay to be willing to act on something or believe it to be true. One conspiracy that I do believe is that the CIA does stuff domestically at least in a "Research and Development" sense, since there's real evidence of that happening in the past, and from what I witnessed at Burning Man in 2009.

That's a story for another day though, I'm real glad to be here and hope to meet and befriend many of you over time!
