I want to throw this out there and see what ya'll think. Myself and other "freedom minded persons have discussed this extensively. Being as the various "grass roots movements" are becoming suspect at best, what about a whole change of our agenda

we back local persons, first timers, non party affiliated, in STATE ONLY elections. We run these people on an "anti federalist or state constitution plateform". First we pack the state houses with our representitives. Then, they pass reform laws similar to the montana gun laws, except we go for alcohol, tobacco, and firearms. Then pass a law that says "all income tax money collected by the fed goes directly to the state, as federal income tax is illegal". We recognize all native american tribes as "tax exempt". Then use the "federal monies to fund all state agenda's, leaving the fed with for generally no cash flow. We use their paper money only until we can stabilize a state to state currency.

being as most state reps all reside in the locations they rep, we could have complete input/control of what goes on. extend open meetings laws to say no committees can meet with ANY outside persons behind closed doors EVER.

During the same time as reps are changing the tax laws, the governers, as "commander and chief" of their states National Guard orders all persons in the guard in that state to "return home immediately to protect the soverienty and freedom of all the persons in our state.

this would stop the cash bleed from all of us into the fed, and would at the very least get their attention.
now the hard part, is many of you would be needed to "step up" and actually run for these offices.

We completely ignore the fed elections let the dem's and repub's do what they will, as we would take control on a grass roots level. everyone can get their revolution, without violence, social collapse, and blood shed

So, with the Indian nations in a tax free situation, then we let them take over tobacco, from a "heritage standpoint". Since we basicly would have no modern tobacco industry without their help in the beginning, they would be induced to produce "state only" tobacco on the reservation, and to use native american labor where ever possible. Additionally, I feel that since a man's home is his castle, any native americans property (homestead) would count as a reservation, for taxation purposes.

Actually, this is a pretty briliiant idea.
But there is a catch.
Once you create state currency, you have the issue of a state claiming there currency is worth more than the next state.
So there would be New York, claiming that their dollar is worth 100 shekels and Maine claiming theirs to be worth 150 shekels.
Big problem.
This is one of the main reasons for the Constitution of the USA.

But, great ideas aside, TPTB won't let this happen.
They still have a dollar to crash and a country to implode.
Believe me, it WILL happen.

Once the dust settles, this idea of yours would be a great start.

I think your best presentation is here because it puts the power back to the states.
Where it needs to be.
I don't think people actually read their own state constitutions enough.
If they did, they would see how much the Federal gov't is unconstitutional.

Thanks, I appreciate it

I wonder if the currency(s) could be tied to the states main products produced by the state (tobacco, grain, mfg'd goods) and rate it kind of like 200 lbs of corn equals 12 gallons of moon shine equals 8 gallons of gasoline....kind of a gross state product index

I think if/when we ditch the current fed system of money it should be tied to something better under our control than gold otherwise this whole mess will happen again

I really like the idea of focusing on State elections as a doable approach.

My problem with State politics is that I don't really think of myself as a Virginian; I think of myself as an American. I have very strong feelings about my country, but no feelings about my State. So it's hard for me to even pay attention to what's going on in my State. All of the news that I follow is national news. I don't even have a local news source.

So my mindset is in the wrong place for your plan.

I would need a way to get started focusing on my own State.

Actually, what would be helpful to me would be to have a website that would be centered around your plan, for all 50 States. People in each State could see what's going on in other States and draw from the ideas.

A web site would be a great idea. I think many people do not have as much state pride, as nationalism. We all need to change that. The reason we have been "focused" on national issues, IMHO, is all part of the plan to keep "we the people" divided. As states we have much more power and control. Thats what TPTB really want is us to focus on some point way on the horizen, and miss the pink elephant standing next to you. I think that all of us will need to change our attitudes and "angles of direction"

If we had a central web site with state reps, their gov't email addresses, and various versions of form letters that the individual could copy and paste to tell them good job, bad job and make feedback to them part of our daily routine we can make a difference.

After all consider if TPTB do go to their underground facilities, how many local politicians would still be left outside. We are all in this together (Red Green)

I wish, also, that there were news programs on the internet for each of the 50 states. Something along the lines of Infowars.com and PrisonPlanet.TV, but each state having their own.

If I could watch a host and guest discussing my State's issues, I think it would really get me going. We could watch other States to get ideas.

well, what do we need to do to start this?
I think it could be a re-defining point in our country
with everyone so dis-illusioned with everything in general, public support could rally
and because we can (potentially) know the people that are being elected, it helps root out the infamous politicians that do anything to get elected, only to ditch us at the prom for the pretty girl.

maybe even some sort on promise agreement
kind of like the 10 commandments for being our rep

I don't know, just brainstorming, but we have to do something
