This is a tough issue with me I believe all schooling should be paid for including college. And I also believe anyone who can not take care of themselves should have a safety net in our country. But we can do these things and not be communist.


I do have issue with communist holding high positions in the White House. Especially when they deny it. I would rather them be open about it. I could at least have some respect then.


My issue is Van Jones and how he made into the White House and this should also be a issue that the left should care about to. This is your country just as much as it is mine. And the welfare of this republic is very important.

Communism truly does not exist it is a Oligarchy and so is socialism. A free market society ruled by laws that are enforced is the way to go. We just need to enforce the Monopoly laws we have already and we could straighten this out.

There are alot of advocates on this site that think Communism is a nice ideal. I'm not saying it should be celebrated,not by any freedom-loving people,but if people aren't going to sound even a little bit bothered by this,then I can suppose they are themselves a part of it,maybe thinking they will be favored somehow.

I wouldn't want to be linked to a party praising the advances of Communism. But then,I love God and freedom instead,and I'm not a "victim" of the "evil capitalist system".

I know a good portion of America is concerned about a modern Red threat being pursued by other Americans. I am trying to get Anybody to substantiate these fears
because I believe this assertion is political in origin. Instead it appears it was easier to divert the focus from the external reality to me the poster...

This thread has much to do about a sentiment that does not match the current physical reality. You are serving as an example of this modern phenomena, making assertions
upon connection you have fabricated and then applying this sum to anything you see fit.

Truth is there is no Red movement in America, at best there is a portion of America who feel the laws and taxes should not favor the mega producers as they do now,
that there is some sort of a sustainable "safety net" and that Capital does not become de facto law. You make the government too weak and Money will dictate law, you will lose practical recourse and you will be tyrannized by the corporate system. I fail to understand why so many of you cite a threat that is non existent, while ignoring the obvious. The middle class is dying, will the wealthiest are becoming more wealthy
by exponents. The government is the recourse we the people have, I feel we need to create better government that does not slant this modern pillaging further. I expanded my position -

Ahhh, the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). Gotta love these fine folks, huh? Their slogan is "Radical Ideas. Real Politics." On the home page of the CPUSA site they proudly offer a snippet of their history - the struggle as it were - where they tell us "The Communist Party has an unparalleled history in the progressive movement of the United States . . . ." Huh? American Communists admitting a connection between progressives and Communists? Who knew?...

There have been trillions of words written and spoken about how American progressives are way left leaning folks. Funny how the progressives themselves deny any correlation to Communism, and how they defame any who maintain otherwise. But the best part is the CPUSA themselves tell us they are progressives.

Progressives talk, act and legislate in a Marxist-like manner and then get all indignant when anyone says "gee, seems like a Commie to me." If one tells me I am thinking and acting like a conservative, I wear that mantle proudly, but if I say they are Marxists and Communists, they go ballistic. That means either they are unaware their ideology is Marxist and almost full blown Communist, or they are less then honest. I wonder . . . .
