Lebanon reacts to Israel border breach

Angry protestors in southern Lebanon have reacted to Israel's violation of the country's territory, dismantling a newly installed Israeli fence near the Blue Line.

PressTV is no more bias towards Iran than any other media outlet towards there respective countries... in fact, presstv does way more actual news than american media...

really cause as far as i can tell they make none.. prove that they do and ill take my words back. show me they are like sorcha fall and ill rescind my words... and if they do, which they dont, at least its about real news and issues and not about whose bangin who like in the american media..

I don't know how you can be so sure nothing is going to happen Israel doesn't exactly shy away from attacking its neighbors and has a pretty consistent track record in this regard. It doesn't take a conspiracy site or supposedly biased news sources to see what's coming......

Because TPTB wont let Israel do anything about it thats why. If they are about to attack Lebanon AND Syria i dont think this will be allowed to happen. This isnt just another Gaza airstrike or tank incursion. This is MUCH diiferent and im sure Israel is being coached to just things slide....

Massing tanks on the border would be stupid for Israel at this point...too obvious. MASSIVE airstrikes and as soon as they commence THEN start sending in the heavy equipment. They wont tip their hand this time (if anything happens which i dont think it will).

He is right, what purpose would a SCUD have under Hizbullah control? Seriously, think about it. If it was AA missiles, that would be a different story, but a SCUD to my knowledge is an offensive weapon. Do you think they would use it on any other neighboring country? Of course not, which is why Israel is concerned about the matter. If Mexico and Canada were firing rockets into the U.S. all the time, I'd be very concerned if they had acquired a larger, more powerful weapon to fire at us. Same idea in Israel's case.

The difference is that if Canada or Mexico fires missiles into the US, the US would take their house down and answer to nobody nor ask permission.

Israel on the other hand is on the US's leash. Sure they hasve carte blanche for some of the little tit-for-tat stuff they do with Hamas, BUT an all out assualt of Lebanon and Syria? NO WAY. Only if they were attacked first. If Israel is going to do something pre-emptive you can berlieve they will have the US's "go ahead" or "we'll look the other way". Thus far, Obama doesnt seem to be taking that approach with them.

Which is why nothing has happened.

I understand where you're coming from, but I was giving an example as to why Israel is concerned about the matter.

Hizbullah is not the national army. Lebanon does have it's own armed forces, which also reiterates my original opinion that Hizbullah - a militia, has no purpose owning a SCUD.
