ok something is trying to push its way out but there is too much weight,,,,,that weight is slowly melting and washing away earth ,, removing the excess weight ,,, if it is already crcked,, etc,,,,,,

It's the first time I've see night-time activity at that extent on Valahnuk cam - zoom in for better views of the stuff being ejected

Wow...with the Hvolsvelli cam, you can see it's scale v. the surroundings. I just logged on, has it been like this all evening? Seems to be intensifying too...

It might just come out in one long rolling sheet of lava, that is a possibility

Valahnúk can is giving a fantastic show, which is good as it's been pretty boring since the eruption began so makes a nice change to some action from this view

There were some fab lenticular clouds hovering like UFO's on the cam earlier - I got a webcam shot that I really like but while I have it on a Word doc now, I have no clue how to get it from there to here... anyone care to give me some hints?!

Anmarie - I find the easiest way to capture the screen shot is to make the image full screen using right click on the image then hit Fn+PrtScn - at least that's what's on my keyboard

Porolfsfelli is the cam to watch at the moment
