You know what Joe thats a good idea. There is a gun club that I know that teaches those classes close to where I live. Maybe I should take a gun safety course.

I have the normal good old American house protection arsenal:
Semi- auto 9mm
Semi- auto 22lr (pistol)
Winchester 12 guage shotgun
Marlin microgrooved pump 30-30 with a 3x9x50 scope
Marlin microgrooved semi- auto 22LR with a 3x9x40 scope
Of course never underestimate the mighty compound bow. I love that thing.
I won't even begin to go into my other "weapons"
knives, slingshots (hehe), etc.
Or attempt to count the amount of ammunition.
Always be prepared.
I was a boyscout. (And glad to say that no matter the bad publicity I was never fondled by a scout master).

One thing I am starting to wonder about regarding firearms ownership....

I have noticed that Ashcroft/the homeland security crew are doing everything they can to stymie every personal freedom/right they possibly can... but are promoting, and seemingly protecting firearm ownership....

This combination makes me uneasy.... I get a strong feeling that they are *not* attacking firearms ownership simply because they know it to be such a hot/emotional topic for Americans... however, they are apparently building a very detailed database on everything else that citizens do.... maybe just building a comprehensive list before taking the 2nd amendment away as well?????

None of my rights have been interfered with by Ashcroft. You can hear all the noise you want, but if you aren't being personally effected, is there an injury?

The most important right is the 2nd amendment, as that is the one that ensures that the citizen will maintain all the other ones. That is the way the forefathers saw it, anyway.
