Sadaam was not killed by the "PTB" he was killed because of his slaughtering of innocent men, women, and children. He was a tyrant and a thief. How dare you say anything about his bravery......

maybe before you start a thread, you should do some actual research and have atleast something to back up your posts....

He did stand up to the West, that much is indeed true. He was a horrible man, but for years he was "our" horrible man. He had to be executed before he talked about his Western backers. That said, the world is not missing him.

Dont forget the really decent good people such as:

Jaime Roldós Aguilera - President of Ecuador, died in plane crash after refusing to negotiate with the US. about the nations export of fruit. (United Fruit company)

Omar Efraín Torrijos Herrera - Commander of the Panama national guard, Died in plane crash after succesfully nagotiating and getting the Panama canal back to the panamanian people.
The quote that most likely got him killed
"You may rest assured that in our negotiations with the U.S. you will always find us standing on our feet or dead, but never on our knees. Never!""

Many many more im afraid...

it was no secret that he had ties with our government. But to call him brave for standing up against the West but yet using chemical weapons on innocent Kurds........ COME ON GET REAL

Saddam was just a tool for them kept in place to keep that region under his controll... a tool they discarded when they did not need anymore.
I'd say he was more one of them then one of us.

So you've come up with a list of four names. Two were brutal dictators who were, if anything, puppets for the Elite. One name is legitimate. The other you don't bother to name. You couldn't even spend 4 seconds on Google to find out the name of "The Polish President."

Christ, kid. Poppycock like this trivializes the movement. I apologize for being harsh, it's nothing personal. But please go back to the drawing board and come back stronger.

Oh I agree. I think the people who gave him those weapons and encouraged the Kurds to rise up, need to be brought into the light though.

I am not saying he was a good guy. Just want to be clear on that

Milosevic?
seriously?

The Kosovo Indictment, brought against Milosevic and four other Serbian political or military leaders (Milan Milutinovic, Nikola Sainovic, Dragoljub Ojdanovic, and Vlajko Stojiljkovic), charges Milosevic with 5 counts. Four of those counts – deportation, other inhumane acts (forcible transfer), murder, and persecution – are charged as crimes against humanity. The other – murder – is charged as a violation of the laws or customs of war. The indictment charges Milosevic with individual responsibility for planning, instigating, ordering, committing or otherwise aiding and abetting in the crimes as part of a "joint criminal enterprise," with others. It also charges him with "superior responsibility" for the crimes because he allegedly knew or had reason to know that the crimes were being committed by subordinates and he failed to take necessary and reasonable measures to prevent or punish the crimes. Specifically, the Kosovo Indictment alleges that between January 1 and June 20, 1999, Milosevic participated in a deliberate campaign of terror and violence against Kosovo Albanians, targeting them with the goal of expelling a substantial portion from Kovoso in order to ensure that Serbs maintained control over the province. The terror, violence, and persecution were conducted by such means as deportation, murder, sexual assault, and destruction of property.

just to start,
he was a genocidal maniac.
I don't doubt at all that many, many good men and women in many, many countries have been assassinated, murdered, and generally disappeared by
"TPTB", but you need to find a few better examples.

from anwar sadats wiki page:

Despite these facts, the nephew of the late president, Talaat al-Sadat, claimed that the assassination was an international conspiracy. On 31 October 2006, he was sentenced to a year in prison for defaming Egypt's armed forces, less than a month after he gave the interview accusing Egyptian generals of masterminding his uncle's assassination. In an interview with a Saudi television channel, he also claimed both the United States and Israel were involved: "No one from the special personal protection group of the late president fired a single shot during the killing, and not one of them has been put on trial," he said

whats funny about when TPTB kill people, their fingerprints remain evident even with the passage of time. yet they still go to ridiculous lengths to keep them hidden long after the fact. anwar sadats son gets thrown in jail for a year for simply talking about it.

it is my sincere hope that the powers that be, wont be powers for much longer.

I am not really suprised. Why just earlier today while at work I saw an article at work on AOL that said the Polish President's plane crash wasn't due to malfunctions. Did anyone post anything on that yet?

Anyway the Clinton family was real good at silencing people, most likely the Bush's were pretty good too.

My point is that anyone with money can make someone disappear real easy. Heck I'm border line poor and I can do it if I wanted, and do it pretty good to. It will happen until they are stopped.

P.S TheRepublic there really is no point saying you live in The East Coast. It pretty obvious where you live.

Wow you should really stay or go back to school.... Now if you are going to disagree I would appreciate it if you would do so in a mature manner and not post like a 15 year old know it all.

Just off the top of my head:

Patrice Lumumba
Salvador Allende
General Patton (?)
John Lennon

There is a question about whether the *real* Saddam Hussein was executed - if that person was even executed.

PolitiCIAn imposter-replacement: Saddam Hussein

Yea I remember hearing something like Sadaam had like 5 look alikes. And I am glad someone put Lennon up here!!!
What about

William "Bill" Cooper
Phil Schneider (even though I think his story about the underground war was BS, but if it is true than his death was TPTB related)
Martin Luther King Jr.
Malcolm X
Robert F. Kennedy

Pardon me for asking this...and I've asked this a number of times in the past...

but...

The (evil) Powers That Be... Leaves a lot of room for random interpretation, IMHO.

Just who are these nefarious evil doers? In order to combat them, we gotta know who "the powers that be" are...

So Presidents Clinton, Bush (both of 'em), and now Obama are not the powers that be...only their duplicitous servants. Then I'm safe in assuming (yes, I know what happens when one assumes...), that no world leader is actually a "Power That Be"?

So who are these evil doers that rule the world, yet are forced to kill, and kill again, in order to protect their awesome power?

Names would be good...and why you think they're the real PTB.

Yes...I'm a tad on the skeptical side, on this whole hidden powers that be thing. People are, have been, and will be corrupt all on their own most times...they may have some playmates out there, 'tis true, but some real ironclad proof would be useful, don't you think?

Yeah, he had at least 3.

Thanks. That whole story is very suspicious, IMO.
Questions about John Lennon's assassination
IMO, Paul McCartney was another one they took out.

Phil Schneider (even though I think his story about the underground war was BS, but if it is true than his death was TPTB related)
Martin Luther King Jr.

William Colby
Kim Jong Il (?)

According to Dr. Peter Beter, Jimmy Carter, Walter Mondale, & Henry Kissinger were all killed & replaced with impostors.
