'All bets are off' if US under WMD attack: Clinton

WASHINGTON (AFP) - Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Sunday the United States could not rule out using nuclear weapons if it came under biological attack, saying in that case "all bets are off."

Both Clinton and Defense Secretary Robert Gates said in joint television interviews that Iran and North Korea represented exceptions to the limits on a US nuclear response, as both have defied UN resolutions on their atomic programs.


"We leave ourselves a lot of room for contingencies," Clinton said.


"If we can prove that a biological attack originated in a country that attacked us, then all bets are off," Clinton said in an interview with CBS's "Face the Nation


I worry about the: "If we can prove" statement. Who's proof? Who's truth? Definititely open to "False Flag", unfortunately.

WOW!! Good find OP. This really does sound like it could be the making of a False Flag event. Is that what they are possibly planning, a Biological Attack on US soil? Wouldn't surprise me in the least. Guess we will see how the year plays out.

Crap! They don't want to advertise their intentions too much, don they? How about taking out a full page ad on the front page of the city that's gonna be destroyed while you're at it. Damn!

America just murder anyone. If you even think you hate america, they may cross teh world desperate to kill you, just for thinking you hate them, for what they do. You do not need to do anything, or want to do anything to them. You just need to think that you hate them.

They pick and choose who they want to kill.

I doubt anyone is nutty enough to attack them, but i seriously doubt morales is something americans care for.

My advice is no one should do anything to them, and america will not have any enemies to fight in real world, other than there planners.

The smell of false flag in the air is getting stronger and stronger with every passing day...

Every mention of such and such nation being an exception to the rule brings us closer to an event likely to be blamed on such and such nation for nefarious purposes...

Nukes have little tactical use while the whole world would condemn such actions. If America ever used them today it would find themselves against the whole world. Only in the case of some massive war with China or Russia scenario would their use even have a purpose at all. Think about it, how many countries would not fold under even one or two months of conventional attack from the US?

Nukes only have the purpose of a worldwide SHTF scenario for America and only two other countries can cause that to happen.

BTW if a country like Iran ever used a nuke on America the Hell on Earth that America can create with conventional means would make them wish nukes were used.

Would they use the same level of "intelligence" gathered used to show Iraq had WMD to determine from whence came the attack? If so then we had all best run out and buy ourselves NBC suits, dry rations, and start digging bunkers.

If this is a pretense to a false flag. This news will get a lot of different type of attention given by the media in the future. They would have to groom the American population and the rest of the world to accept the false flag concept.

It would be quite interesting to see how they plan on doing just that. Iran is without doubt a bastard in this concept.

I only wish bunkers would protect us. I think it's too late for anything but dumb luck to save us.

This does not sound promising. Esspecialy with all the virus's/flu's that are created in labs and dispacted via lorries that can crash.

Chances are, they said this as a safegaurd. If they created a deadly virus/flu and got caught/found out that it was created in america and then the lorry crashed, causing the virus to infect, they would much prefer to blaim the virus as a bio attack from terrorism instead of making themself look foolish. Would be alot easier to point the fingure and twist the story to make out it was not their fault.

If Hillary mentions a biological attack then I would rule it out. Reading between the lines a radiological attack (dirty bomb) seems more likely.

Look for training exercises in a major city to limit the outflow of traffic. This could be a "tip off".

Exactly. Keep people under the dispersal cloud for as long as possible, so that they get a great big dose of radiation. This would also be another chance, like they had with Katrina, to practice FEMA's people-control doctrine. (Hey you! Yes you! You look like you're irradiated. Stay right there. No, you don't need any food, water or medicine, just stay where you are any by the way, give us your guns. Where's my radiation detector? Um, er, I don't need one, I have a gun and you don't, so there!)

I do not think anyone will do anything, but its like america is desperate for thsi to happen, just so they can say and do what they want. Not like they are not doing that already.

I doubt anything will happen, but you know if it did the anglo american empire would be behind it.

I can not see using nukes on Iran and North Korea.

though if i was in the US government position i would never tell Iran and North Korea that i would do anything but make them glow in the dark.

Hillary and Obama are not singing the same tune when it comes to the US policy on the use of Nuclear Weapons . Hillary is drunk on power but she is also smart enough to try and right Obama blunder which is an open invite to Iran and North Korea to use nukes .

I think I would have preferred HIllary in the White House over Obama. She clearly has the bigger set of stones. Obama just tucks it and ducks.

Well unless a corrective press statement appears then we will have a fair idea of who really decides US foreign policy . It would hardly be a great leap to say Hillary is the real player in the Obama admin he practically had to make her Secretary of State to get to drop out of the primary race . Oh and there is the fact that Hillary got to choose the staff she hired in the department she heads .

Proof = a suitcase full of information left in a convenient location for law enforcement officials to find. DUH. Don't ya know terrorists leave their cards at the scene of the crime, how else would we find them? By looking? Don't worry, I'm sure they still make those super-indestructible passports these days - even if one of them gets blown to Timbuktu that passport will survive the hellfire and brimstone.
