Advice from Texan's

Hello,

I am currently a NYS. My wife and I are tired of the taxes, petty laws, and weather. We have two children ages 10 and 6. My wife has been a teacher with tenure for the last 13ys. and was recently told that her position is going to be eliminated at the end of this school year. We decided that maybe it was a good time to make a change. We are just the average run of the mill early forty's couple with two kids, house, and dog. I would like to know what people think the areas of TX that would be best for us to fit into. If you know any school systems looking for quality teachers in Elementary education or a reading specialist with a MS. would really help also. Any and all help is appreciated. We want out of NY.
