A butcher is very capable of doing this, when working with my dad as a part-time job sort of thing.. he easily replicated such cuts.

The APFU claim that the video below shows UFOs connected to the sheep mutilations in question. The video was posted today by CYRAX in a thread appropriately called What is this. I can make out a couple of lights but not much more.

I agree with what your saying Disco
Youd expect some footage of this.

Thanks for the comments.

However Thanks to Cripmeister There "IS" Video Footage of These Strange Orbs/Lights as Filmed by the APFU

Although the Video Proves Nothing They Did Indeed Get Some Footage.
Not the Best by Any Means, But Better Than Nothing.

I Really Dont Think this is a "Butcher" Doing This. I'm Not Saying a Butcher Couldnt But i Think it's Highly Unlikely.

You should have added date and source along with the photos in your post to avoid confusion. The first photo is from 2008 according to the APFU website, which is where you got it from I guess. I have no idea where you got the second one.

Thanks, still not really convinced about anything as the quality is poor and it's a light apparantly moving around (could be anything) but at least they did capture "something". I was hoping for a nice vid of it shooting the laser beams, I'm dissapointed

Ten years or so worth of sheep mutilations in a select area of
Shropshire County are leading some to speculate that the strange cases
are the work of extra-terrestrials.
Shrewsbury, UK - Farming is still a viable economic pursuit in
Shropshire County, where Shropshire sheep are making a comeback. A
report from the area Monday said some farmers in the Shrewsbury area
have been finding some of their sheep dead and strangely mutilated.
The report goes further, blaming extra-terrestrials for the strange
damage.

Please go to this link for more from the article.

Hiya Judge, when you post or quote text from other places it looks better if you stick in an 'extract' box and link to the source. Next time you post...try it. Look at the row of icons above your reply box. See the 'Ex?' Copy the text you want...click that Ex icon and paste your text into the field. Click OK.

I realised I haven't linked to the interview mentioned earlier...

March 21, 2010 — Co-host Christopher O’Brien with Ted Oliphant and Philip Hoyle

Co-host Christopher O’Brien presents a roundtable on the animal mutilation phenomenon featuring Ted Oliphant, a former law enforcement officer, and Philip Hoyle, of the Animal Pathology Field Unit. This is reported to be the first such broadcast discussion involving three experts on the subject.

How is it 'highly unlikely'?

It's far more believable than Aliens doing it, why the heck would they leave the body? You're saying intergalactic space travelers can't space a cow/sheep/horse/whatever?

No, I doubt that.

Well for starter's Can a "Butcher" Make Surgical Precision Cuts?

Can a "Butcher" Drain All The Blood Without Spilling a Drop on the Ground in a Field?

Does a "Butcher" Use Laser's as a Cutting Tool?
As it's Believed This is how the Incisions Are Made Since the Cuts Are Sealed By Some Form of Heat.

I've Never Said that "Intergalactic Space Travellers" Were Doing These Mutilations.

1. With the right knives of course, they're very similar to a surgeons tools so they can cut through muscle/flesh/bones with ease.

2. Who said anything about them doing the procedure on the spot? A most likely way is someone to take the animal at night, killing it, and doing the work at his home or at a butcher shop and blood can be drained very quickly.. 8 hours or so.

Enough time for the farmer to find the animal and conclude it was done by aliens and not being seen.

3. There is no indication to conclude that the cuts were done with a laser cutting tool.

4. Okay.. so humans in black ops craft (unidentified) would take interest in butchering cattle? Very likely but it adds more holes to the story in that case.

I tend to agree with you. The likeliest explanation for cattle mutilations is some human agency looking for something we can only guess at. The whole subject is mysterious and questions lead to more questions.

A study by the Bigelow-funded NIDS team concluded mutilations were *probably* the result of an unknown human group checking the food chain for prions. You can download it Unexplained Cattle Deaths And The Emergence Of A Major TSE Epidemic in North America

I linked a Paracast interview a few posts back...it's certainly worth a listen and discusses the sheep mutilations in the OP and cattle mutes in the States.

I understand what you're saying, my statement was in relation to the mutilations that happen in residential areas.. places like the ones you are mentioned are harder to pass off as a 'man did it' scenario because of the lack of business and it's not likely a farmer in said counters would kill his own cattle in that matter... most don't have the money to just waste meat like that.

The point I was suggesting in my first post was how much evidence is there that *anything* is happening?

The APFU were guests a couple of weeks ago on the Paracast...very interesting guests too. Coincidentally, the news stories have been generated since the interview and all make a reference to them. Perhaps there is a wave of unexplained mutilations and perhaps there isn't?

I suspect someone connected to APFU or a journalist hearing the Paracast has seeded all the news stories. Each one contains the same information. Seasonal newsflap? There's very little evidence to this case

There's still only hearsay reports that go back to the AFPU. A lot of the news articles I linked have copy&pasted phrases from an original source.

Here's an update on the Mutilations in UK

“A retired police officer saw a fleet of six red-orange spheres on New Year’s Eve (December 31, 2009) that were approximately 30 to 50 feet in diameter” in the Radnor Forest area of sheep mutilations.”

Now in the first week of April 2010, a dozen young sheep were discovered cut up bizarrely on the Low Weatherhill Farm in Hamsterley, Durham, in northern England. The owner, Kay Thompson, said the animals had been skinned, gutted and decapitated. “How do you catch a sheep at that time of the night, in the dark, and butcher them like this? It's got to be somebody who knew what they were doing.” The April 2010 killings are not classic mutilations, such as the Radnor Forest, Wales, sheep deaths or the bloodless excisions of ears, eyes, jaw flesh, tongue, genitals and rectums that characterize the worldwide animal mutilation phenomenon reported in both hemispheres for the past half century. But these strange April sheep deaths resonate with the question: who or what is killing and mutilating animals in the United Kingdom now and in the past?

www.earthfiles.com...

I find this particulary intersting as Hamsterly is just down the road from me.

I have a theory of sorts. PETA has gotten into another dispute with the UK's Ministry of Defence (the last was about bear skins I think) because they send British army surgeons to Denmark who operate on live pigs that have been shot to replicate battlefield wounds as part of their training. Now, that's controversial enough but the MoD would believe doing so minimises any potential outrage/controversy as it's not done on UK soil and they claim the animals are treated humanely and if possible are patched up afterwards. However, regarding the UK cases of animal 'mutilation'; could it be possible these animals are taken, shot then worked on by British Army surgeons and then returned to their fields? Perhaps the extraneous injuries such as skin and organ removal are to cover up their work? They report a number of holes found in the carcasses. Perhaps they were originally entry wounds from high powered weapons?
