Good post. Government bureaucrats want to destroy so many white people it seems to make up for what happened years ago.

I actually debated posting to this thread. Afraid of being viewed as racist for even broaching the subject.

The whole "white guilt" thing always seems to me to be a transparent, inane, rhetorical bit someone might find on a "white power" flyer at a county fair in the rural south.

I am white...I am also a genealogist and can trace my heritage back 350 years to my first ancestor that landed in modern day maryland. I am proud of that.

I am mostly Scottish, english, germanic in ethnicity...My ancestors proudly fought in the revolutionary war.

That said...I am as white as snow...and have never in my life felt "white guilt"...I have though numerous times in my life felt affronted at seeing fellow Americans treated differently because of the color of thier skin and am a strong advocate of constantly being vigilant in holding true to our American ideals and rooting out intolerance and ignorance wherever it is found.

White guilt?...I have yet to meet anyone that feels "white guilt".

Inevitably wouldnt people in the future all blend into a single race if the world keeps getting smaller with advances in people being in contact with people from all over then one day we can all be guilty of the misdeeds of the long dead white race and long dead every race cause we will have melded into a single race. Of course something like this isnt going to happen over night and may take along time to get there and maybe for survivability of single racial attributes TPTB want to keep us segregated so this will never happen. Hello, it is human nature to covet. Covet thy neighbor, their possessions, etc. It is not a WHITE MAN thing it is just a MAN (as in human race) thing. If you feel sick then you hate yourself and you need counseling.

Personally, I am of mixed descent and proud of each ancestral tie. Not because they were raiders but because each had good qualities. Each WERE RAIDERS, the American Cherokee, the Anglos', and who knows what else is in my mixing pot... so to speak. Personally, I am American. Not American Indian American, not Anglo American... just American.

I personally feel zero guilt in regard to black slavery....i can't think of one damn Italian that owned a slave...so who cares...in fact slavery goes on to this very day IN AFRICA..these people don't care about their own people..so whatever.

What IS true however is the American blacks shame of slavery...the anger they feel is mos def related to the shame of being enslaved by what they 'feel' is a weaker race (whites)...meanwhile their own people handed them over to the white traders willingly. So, horrible business..but not entirely the white mans burden.

I was reluctant to post the thread myself because of the same fears. But if we all continue to be afraid and stay silent, the "white guilt" phenomenon will reach a point beyond despair. I have had enough of all the distrust and envy automatically directed at white people because they were born with pale skin. I have had enough of being told that I should feel bad and guilty about what others with the same colour skin as me did to other people in the past. I have had enough of being told I am not allowed to have an opinion on a subject because "my ancestors" did all these bad things to other people.

Distrust happens when for a variety of reasons but hell I have seen white distrust of me a big black man. I don't even bat an eyelid. Stupid people do stupid stuff. I go on to have a good day. Perhaps some delicate people should be institutionalise. White people have more to fear from other white people, as the statistics prove crime is more prevalent within races than across races.


The idea of reparations died in the real black community and the death was filed as a stillbirth. Perhaps only a hand full of Sharptonites troll out that dead dog. But yet many neocons keep running that one out. Meanwhile the US economy still mdoes the boom bust shuffle and the body bags scome home to all races over an assinine war maintained by all your good senators who seem to have no kids eligible to go to war.

What research I have done(reading the contemporary writings of European explorers, hunters, missionaries, and doctors) European slave traders were predominately Portugese. Capture of the slaves was done by men of one tribe raiding another, then selling the captives to the european traders on the coast or near a navigable river.
The writings also mention how a number of tribes viewed other tribes as commodities, to be kept as slaves, traded or in some cases eaten as food.

I beg to disagree. It was the catholic church that actually used the notion of the soul to justify black slavery or native indian slavery. It was Batholomew de las Casas that wrote about this. Anyone can google this if they want the truth but then again neocons are not interested in a true situation when it comes to race.


The real problem then became an issue of white supremacy. Slavery occured in the whole of Africa and may still do in a slightly different form but again the control mechanism does not include white supremacy which is the real problem. White supremacy means that the most ignorant, inept ileducated white person is waaay better that a black person with better qualities because they are white.

I'm sorry, I disagree. Because of the widespread cultural perception that white people are the oppressive aggressors and all minorities are victimized by them, it is racially charged. It's unfortunate. But it's true. Social perception (regardless of wrong or right) is the defining framework in terms of whether or not an article or comment would be considered 'racially charged'.

I agree that Obama referring to a 'typical' anything in reference to race is wrong, and a I feel a racially charged comment at well.

I could be wrong, but I get the impression you just scrolled through most of what I wrote and and saw a line at the end and responded to that alone. If you didn't, I apologize for the assumption. If you did, I would be grateful if you would read it, and at least that way I would have a better idea of why/where we seem to be misunderstanding each other. I think we are actually on the same page. (More or less.)

The Catholic Church also used the notion of the eternal soul, and the consequences of sin to try and enslave everyone, not just blacks and native Americans. They used to burn a lot of people for the crime of witchcraft, because they did things like practice medical techniques that they had developed over the millennium.

White have no more notion of superiority than any other race, so I am not sure what you are getting at here. Yeah, the people who harbor these superiority complexes are indeed the problem, otherwise known as arrogance, because you can't trust someone who thinks they are better than you.

Arrogance is one of the worse vices, because it allows the worse kind of mistreatment. Arrogance is at the root of all racism. This is what creates a sense of entitlement, that goes beyond all reason. We were wronged, so you owe us.

The reality is this.

We owe you nothing but the respect you earn, just like everyone else.

i honestly don't think it's the black people's fault, when it gets right down to the nitty gritty. i think something much more insidious is behind all this and it has nothing to do with humans. i choose not to ignore 6000 years of history, particularly ancient history.

in other words, i'm not convinced the rothschilds are behind it either. could be, but i don't have enough data on them to make a determination and on top of that, i don't believe the level of judgment required to reach such a conclusion is at my disposal. would need to be near omniscient, to be 100 percent sure. in addition, to come even remotely close to proving it, would lead off into my other theories which are in areas of great controversy, as regards the history of humanity on the planet.
