blaws572.....

I love a challenge

Here's what I think:

1. A bird

(Edit to add: I changed my mind.....as per Phage & CHRLZ, I think it's a bat)

_____________________________________________

2. Not sure……maybe a bird closer to the camera.....maybe a chunk of hot rock that's been ejected by the fissure & hence the "shadow" on the "spray"

_____________________________________________

3. Chinese lanterns

_____________________________________________

4. Planes with landing lights on approach to airport

_____________________________________________

5. Reflective balloon

_____________________________________________

6. Bird

_____________________________________________

7. Satellites

_____________________________________________

8. Terrible quality video…..who knows

_____________________________________________

9. Terrible quality video…..who knows…..nice music…..very relaxing

_____________________________________________

10. Chinese lanterns

“Get in the car…..don’t draw attention to yourself!”

_____________________________________________

I'll look at the rest of the videos in a few mins.

Kind regards

12. Star

_____________________________________________

13. Terrible quality video…..could be anything…..probably a balloon or a plane

_____________________________________________

14. Terrible quality video…..probably a helicopter

_____________________________________________

15 & 16 (parts 1 & 2) Probably a star

MMN you know your my buddy and while I agree on most the 1st one I have to disagree with you own. Granted I am no birdologist
the way that thing just stops and hovers then takes off again makes me wonder. Not saying that it is some alien craft but a bird isn't likely IMO.

Ventian.....

Good to see you!

I'll have to look at that one again.....

I'll be back in a few mins

I'll be here and after spending two hours looking at that footage of the Naval base from your thread last night, you can see I got plenty of work to do.

Thx for embedding as well. Made my life too easy!

Ventian.....

OK.....I had another look.

In the first minute of the video it looks exactly like a bird to me.

I believe I can even see the wings flapping.....& honestly, I've spent ages looking at these night vision videos.

After that, the flapping motion becomes less clear, but I think that's a "distance" issue.

The strange "darty" movements are interesting......I think there's something going on with the camera frame rate & camera zoom that is causing this movement to be exaggerated.

Perhaps we'd learn more if a night vision video expert dropped in.....we have a couple of those.....members who are ex-military users of such equipment.

I'll still go with "bird"

Ahh thats cool as I stated I am no birdologist and have only viewed the vid twice so I haven't got much clarity on it. It looks to me like twelve might not just be a star, I think Nibiru looks exactly like that.

Ventian.....

Why is Nibiru in outer space?

Because it's too scared to be on Earth with Chuck Norris

Man that is a quick way to get a thread going, and I lol'd which I never do when I am alone at night so thank you. I am loving these vids though. Pretty easy to debunk most but still gets me wondering sometimes.

Once you guys pick out the best, I'll come back.

Is No. 1 the only real contender, or are there some other goodun's?

(Laziness is simply an advanced form of efficiency.)

CHRLZ.....

I think # 1 is a bird......what do you think of that, noting my explanations in my subsequent posts?

Also.....# 2 is odd.....what do you think of that?

In my experience birds does not have that chaotic flight pattern, nor do they accelerate in that rate from standing still. The way it flies would fit more to a insect, which I doubt it is.

The other videos could very much likely be stars, satellites etc. But the "birds" are in my opinion something else.

Phage.....

Well, video # 1 could well be a bat.....I hadn't thought of that.

And yes.....I Googled Loof Lirpa.

Possibly bird, but I'd be more inclined to go with the bat theory. Reason? First up, bats are highly maneuvrable - big and powerful wings, small body. Second, it has radar!! So if it is flying at night amongst insects eg moths over city lights, etc, it may be picking out the ones it likes, and darting left right, etc. And you're right about what appears to be flapping wings. But it's a very cool video, and I like the plane...

I notice the poster refers to bats but says they wouldn't be there because the bugs wouldn't be around...? hmmm... Maybe someone else knows the biology in them there parts? I also notice that s/he is one of those folks who think they can pick altitudes from no information whatsoever. Sigh.

The jumpiness is a little strange - I'd guess that maybe he has Image Stabilisation turned on. If so, that's a REALLY BAD idea for this type of shooting. All the IS has to go on is the stars, and it will indeed have to jump when it finds a match every now and then...

Two words - tripod, TRIPOD!!!

Also has to be noted that the poster is a ufo collector/serial sighter, as is the provider of No 2...

Also.....# 2 is odd.....what do you think of that?

A very grainy single image of a 'flying disc'? Disc??? Sorry, but I think it's an unidentifiable waste of time! I mean, it's a volcano - so there will be bright bits and dark bits of all sorts of shapes flying around. Given it's a poor quality single frame, over-enlarged by an unknown algorithm giving it false detail, and with the same lack of supporting information that seems to be common on most of that person's postings, I'm unimpressed. If it was a sequence of video frames, or had surrounding images taken by that camera... *what* camera was it? - if this person was serious, surely there would be a little info?

Sorry to be harsh..

PS - there's also the CGI possibility with the first one, as this is the sort of thing that CGI can do really well, and easily. But I'm more inclined to think bat/bird.

Edited to add:
I'd do an experiment on my local bats with an IR camcorder - I see them flying overhead all the time at dusk/night.. except, the locals are fruitbats, and I think they aren't interested in chasin' pesky little insects...! - just flying to the fruit trees and then back home...

CHRLZ.....

OK.....

I'll go with the bat option for Video # 1 as per you & Phage.

I'll stick with my "it's a terrible quality photo & no one can tell what it is" option for video # 2.

Kind regards
