None of them have bothered to answer the simple question... what percentage of your income did you donate to charity last year??? Like I said earlier, being liberal is easy - when you're giving away other people's money!

None, I actually set up seventeen different aliases and got disabity for all but two of them.
Then on weekends I go to churches and run off with the offerings. At least once a week I would go into a small business and slip on purpose, then settle for several thousand a pop. Sometimes, just for fun, I would take a couple of playboy mags and launch them over a school fence during recess. When an old lady needs help with the bags in her hands, I usually pick thru the groceries and take what I want because her hands are full already.

Have you ever ran circles around a blind person near a busy intersection screaming,

"OHHHHHHH, AAAWWWWWWWWWHH, THEY'RE STINGING ME, OH GOD, OH GOD, THEY'RE STINGING ME TOO DEATH, RUN KILLER BEES, AWWWWWAAHHH!!!"

Your problem isn't so much that ATS is "Right Wing".
Your problem is, that when it comes to certain topics, (perhaps the Illegal Immigrant law for instance), the ATS members from the USA are surprisingly more on the same page than you, or others might have expected.


Maybe, when it comes to some of these issues, common sense, and logic are bringing both the moderate right and the moderate left together.

Which is really hilarious, when I think about the super-liberals, and fat-cat conservatives squirming together, hugging each other because they are losing control of the masses.

If right and wrong win the day, a lot of people will be meeting in the middle.

And that is how we just might have a chance after all.

That's exactly what I was going to post. You beat me to it.

But you are perpetuating the right left divide calling on liberals to push back against the right. I am willing to allow your beliefs if you are willing to allow me mine? And this means also not initiating government force to force me to participate in socialism and steal my money to pay for it.

Lets talk about solutions instead of bickering with each other. The simple solution is voluntarism. if you make everything voluntary then there is no problem it is the initiation of force that causes the divide.

Can you agree that everything should be voluntary? Real choice? I believe it is the only way to overcome the left vs right divide and come together.

I'm amused with these unfounded claims that ATS is becoming a right-wing staging area for Tea Baggers and all sorts of partisan nonsense.

Have you considered that more people are coming to realize that it's Socialism that is screwing up America, and more people are becoming alarmed with the BAD DECISION-MAKING they see in our government, which is WHY you're seeing more such posts on ATS?

I mean, when things go wrong in this country, people ARE free to make their concerns known in any forum they wish — except, of course, in those forums that BAN political discussions...which seems an odd course of action to take in a free country, don't you think?

You need to wake up and realize that it's NOT ATS that is changing. It's the entire political climate in America. Websites all across the Internet are experiencing an increase in so-called "right wing messaging."

But I don't think it's "right wing messaging" at all. I think it's legitimate concern on the part of average citizens, and they're speaking their minds.

The more dangerous activity, I think, is when people call for a ban on free speech on radio, TV, and the Internet.

Recently, you may have heard that the Anti-Defamation League (an organization that has historically defended the Jewish community from defamation) compiled a report on violent, right-wing speech from all across the Internet, listing the posters by name (or, at least, by screen name).

I know, because I'm one of the three ATS posters who was mentioned in the ADL "report"... It's a dubious honor, as far as I'm concerned. And yet, the post they attributed to me — yes, I wrote it — was not violent, was not violence-inciting, and did not threaten anyone.

Nonetheless, my name is now on a LIST that the ADL associates with violent speech, and those of you who read the ADL report may automatically associate me with violent, "right-wing" speech. Indeed, those of you who object to "violent, right-wing" speech are going to consider me a troublemaker.

You may remember another group of political activists who compiled lists of "troublemakers"... Those list-makers were called Nazis, and the Nazis had some imaginative ways of dealing with troublemakers. Odd, don't you think, that a Jewish organization has now adopted the tactics of the Nazis?

No, when fear tactics such as this are being used, it is HIGH TIME for people to be speaking out and doing so FREELY. The ones who want to silence free speech are the true threats to America... and to the entire world.

Your little graph shows Ron Paul to be Authoritarian lmao.. on par with John Edwards!

It was a nice try though. Rudy being far right wing? He's the most progressive "republican" in the party. Or Obama being near Center? He's almost more authoritarian than Bush was. Hilary Clinton is probably the most Authoritarian of them all. I'd say the Doc's graph is far more realistic. Paul an authoritarian.
