The problem lies not in predicting the crime nor in prevention. The problem lies in the gate keepers. You seem to forget one small thing. Are the agent who infiltrated going to jail as well. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

You support removing the:

congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech

Oh thats right it wasnt congress nevermind

How is jailing a man for talking going to ensure my liberty? Planning and do two different things otherwise Id be a trillionare... The example doesnt hold up in the real world...

The whole 'FBI infiltrates group, tried to get poor fool to shoot down something, use fake explosives' thing almost, ALMOST makes me want to get them in on something like that, take their toys, and sell them on Ebay as such, and basically scam the crap out of the FBI. If they are *that* bent on trying to find a villain... Oh- and have a complete and total account of the whole mess. I probably could sell it for a few million to someone in Hollywood (we're talkin' comedy, here!).

We can't go after the jihad training camps becasue it wouldn't be politically correct. Plus you'd have terrorist organizations such as C.A.I.R. sueing and raising a stink, much easier to entrap american citizens. Yes, them going along with the plan was a crime, if it in fact happened, however, the government lying to them and entrapping them with their own proposal reeks.
