Karl Rove Heckled, Called 'War Criminal' at Book Event

Former White House Chief of Staff Karl Rove was heckled and branded a 'war criminal' at a book signing in Beverly Hills, California, Monday night.

Rove, who served as senior advisor and deputy chief of staff to former President George W. Bush, was at the Saban Theater to discuss his new book, "Courage and Consequences: My Life as a Conservative in the Fight," to an audience of about 100 people who paid up to $40 to hear him.

But the audience members were unable to get their copies of the book signed after Rove was shouted down and forced to leave the stage, reported CNN affiliate KCAL-TV.

The event was heated from the onset as several anti-war protesters interrupted Rove's talk to accuse him and his administration of lying to Americans about the threat Iraq posed to the United States - and thus, taking the country into war.

Code Pink? Really? Aren't they just a bunch of law breaking, traitorous scum anyways? I mean really, give me a break.....they've just been out of the media spot light for too long.....they had to do something to get back on the news.

He's on pretty much on every single fox news commentary/opinion show EVERY DAMN NIGHT.

Quite frankly I'm shocked that 100 people would even show up to listen to what the ahole has to say.

He sat in an administrations that sent our economy straight to hell...got us involved in 2 wars that we can't pay for...not to mention the huge financial crisis...

The Bush administration and the Obama administration want the european allies help them in the war they started with Iraq.

Europe spent alot of money and sacrificed many young men for Bush and Obama. It is an honor to fight along with the liberators of europe and we owe the americans to help them out.

But the funny thing is that the american government refuse to recognise the international court of law. They are so against it that the rumour excist that pentagon has an evacuation plan for captured generals/politicians and an invasion plan ready for Holland.

Why is the US government afraid to sign this recognition? Are they aware that they have commited crimes against some international war regulation?

I applaud their endeavour. Since a trial and sentencing as better alternative seems to be out of reach, it is important to shame the Machiavellian monsters wherever and whenever possible. Although the character deficit of the spinmaster Karl Rove is also found in many other politicians from both parties, he certainly deserves harassment. If more and more people continue to become alienated from the corrupt politicians, MSM and jurisdiction, perhaps sometime such an arrest will have a real effect.

I was really hoping that this woman would have got the cuffs on this dude. What I'm wondering though is when they are going to go after the current administration as well. I'll give her the ovaries of steel award if she pulls the same thing on Axelrod.

They are right with calling him out. He is a criminal but so is the current administration who is doing the very same thing. This is right vs wrong not left vs. right. Sides are for our amusement they mean nothing to the TPTB. They are all on the same page why are we not doing the very same thing?

There is alot of truth to what you say. However, when did we as a people lose all civility? There is a time and a place for everything, and getting your face on t.v acting like an ass seems to be becoming the norm. Could you imagine if someone attempted to do that to Obama. I mean after all he's just continuing the same policies, and in some cases expanding them. He's just as guilty, if not more so, because he knows it's wrong, and yet gets a pass.....in my eyes the man commited treason several times in the last few weeks alone. I can't take anything this group "code pink" does seriously, it's abot shock value and attention, period.......they want their 15 minutes of fame, that's all.

I would love to impeach this president. I wanted to impeach Bush just about every day and I'm almost getting there with this go around as well. Do I think he's the Boss though? No. There is a clandestine force way more powerful involved that needs to be brought down.

I'd imagine people started losing their civility when they realized their vote doesn't matter. Neither did their letters, petitions or protests... and the laws don't matter either, international, federal, local.. except when applied to us, when applied to us it's all that matters... When they sodomize the rules, it's just bad policy, the "right" thing to do, unfortunate but needs a trillion dollars in bailouts, right/left wing nutters playing politics, a political witch hunt, requires a pardon so the nation can move on, "you're a towel!", or "classified".

The unwashed masses are tired of being finger probed by uncle sams dick fingers, lied into wars that kill millions, ignored, our money wasted down rat holes, having to boot lick the cops at drivers license check points, $200 photo enforcement tickets in the mail, paying wicked high taxes when already broke, incompetently run economy, leaders who smile out lies.... you name it.

I think its hilarious that rove and his neo-cronies think they can still go into public and not be enthusiastically hated on... do they live in a bubble? they're seriously unaware of the world wide bile tasting hate that exists for them?
