Patriotism, what does it mean?

I have my own version of patriotism [pls note OL is an Aussie ] and here it is...

Being a TRUE patriot doesn't require that they have an emotional tie to their country at all!

In FACT the ONLY thing a Patriot does require is that they are willing to DO WHATEVER IS REQUIRED by that countries current Rulers [AKA: TPTB]

They don't require morals or ethics AT ALL! And in fact, those things actually hinder a patriot so much that they can't do their JOB!

If the country requires that babies be slaughtered upon an altar, then a true patriot of that country wouldn't hesitate or even question it!

Patriots FOLLOW ORDERS! They DON'T GIVE THEM... Thats the JOB of TPTB!

Personal Disclosure: And they DON'T Question either... Thats the JOB of people with ethics and morals... neither of which a true Patriot possesses!
